More About the Author

After the publication of my nonfiction book "Dolphin Tribe", working with dolphins once again returned to my life. I founded the nonprofit cetacean research and education organization, The Dancing Dolphin Institute, and for many years led people on dolphin swims--not only in Hawaii-- but around the world. I travelled and made presentations at many conferences, sacred tours and gatherings as well as guesting on television and radio shows. However, everything changed for me after I returned from a pilgrimage to Tibet. My Inner Presence called me to go within and simply 'be'. Thus, I put the DDI on sabbatical and quieted my busy life. Since then, I have been travelling and doing all of the things I listed above. The Basics: a B.A. in journalism followed by an exciting career in advertising, journalism and publishing, Motherhood, duties of an ordained interfaith minister, dream coach, astrologer and (so others say),an inspirational speaker.

The book is an eye opener. I would like to purchase enough of this book to send to all those dolphin-killers in Japan, etc. However, I have a feeling they will not have any interest in reading the same. Dolphins (whales) have a form of intelligence of a higher order than we have. The military experimentations with them and the Japanese harvesting them for food, etc. is something I wish I were unaware of as it hurts to just simply know about these activities.
