Product Description

You'll spend your vacation on the gorgeous Caribbean island and there you'll have the once in a lifetime opportunity to help in a dolphin station. Take care of the two new dolphins and gain their trust. The dolphin station was founded to help dolphins that had previously been in captivity get used to a life of freedom. Get to know the island residents and discover the secrets of Tirimoa together with the dolphins.

"Your task is to take care of the two freed dolphins using the necessary medicine and sufficient food. Once the dolphins have gotten a bit used to you, you can teach them a couple of tricks!

Once you've spent enough time with them and trained them sufficiently, they'll accompany you even in the open ocean and can help you with important tasks. Then you can even speed around the island at your leisure, and discover all the secrets of the ocean in good company ..."

In your discussions with the island residents, they keep referring to a legendary pirate's treasure. And then a mysterious crystal skull suddenly appears as well. Is there more to this legend perhaps? Only you can find this out together with the dolphins. And so: Off to Tirimoa, the adventure begins!

5.0 out of 5 stars So much fun! February 9, 2013
Verified Purchase
I was at first hesitant to buy this because I didn't like Tivola's other games, and I didn't like that there were no reviews for me to look at. I bought it anyway and loved it. The game was super duper fun! The dolphins are cute and interactive, and really fun to take care of. The people on the island are really fun to talk to as well. I haven't finished it yet, but there is a mystery surrounding the whole pirate story. You can go boating with the dolphins and it's super fun. You also can train the dolphins by making different swiping patters on your screen. All-in-all, I think you should really buy it. It's fun with the dolphins, but it's even more fun with the mystery sorounding the Island of Tirimoa

5.0 out of 5 stars so much fun April 3, 2013

This game is so much fun!!!! I was a little worried about how much money it cost because there was only 1 review. BUT it is worth the money. The only problem I found in this game is if you don't save the game you lose what you have done in the game.

Cute Dolphin game is actually a neat way to kill time with no pressure. Graphics are great, the Music is soothing and Dolphin training is fun at first. Then, it gets to be a tedious, laborious and repetitious. Sadly, it requires endless trips back and forth to get more Fish. You constantly repeat the painfully slow process of Feeding and exercising the two Dolphins individually (taking turns) to fill up their bar graph guages that monitor Food, Health and Happiness levels for each of the 2 Dolphins. If you don't perform these tedious chores adequately, the people you speak with will just leave you hanging with little or no hints as to what is to be done next. You also have to constantly get fuel for the Boat or you are left hanging again. There are many complaints about difficulty in steering the Boat but it works OK for me if I TILT MY TABLET with SHORT, Quick movements. Still a decent game if you can tolerate the Slow and Repetitious style. If you read all the information given in conversations, it does give some direction on where to go and what to do but not as helpful as real instructions would be.

A decent storyline and many tasks to complete help keep you engaged for a while. Unfortunately, many players will get frustrated with the overly repetitious and slow nature of many required tasks. If this was adjusted properly to make it more USER FRUENDLY, it would be a great game without the Boredom and Frustration that it creates in it's present state. It is SAFE as far as No Malware or Intrusive features but it has No Instructions, Does not EXIT with back key and has a few rough edges or glitches that need fixing too. I will keep it since it really has much promise and may get fixed with future updates. Just OK for now but HOPEFULLY THE DEVELOPER WILL FIX to satisfy users better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Relaxing gameplay July 30, 2014
Unlike in animal rescue by the same developer, you are not chased through the game. Relax, you're on island time.
At 30MB, don't expect great complexity, but for that size it looks very nice graphically and is entertaining.
The writing looks small even on a tablet, so it may not be playable well on a phone.
The first day serves as tutorial, you are shown how the user interface works and introduced to the main characters. Paul Fontaine is hard of hearing, so SPEAK into the microphone. This works with Kindle Fire HD, not sure what happens if your tablet has no mike.
End the day by clicking the hammock.
You'll be introduced to the dolphins the next day.
If you should forget whom to visit next, no big problem, the island is really small and you cannot get lost.
Have fun.

I'm three "weeks" into the game, which translates to three hours.
It doesn't get boring since it has a progressing storyline.
The boating feature is nice but the island is barren when boating.
It's a good game but the storyline will probably draw to a close soon,
and there is little replay value.

3.0 out of 5 stars not my thing July 30, 2014

This is slow paced and requires you to sit there going back and forth. It sends you in circles to complete a task. Some may like it...maybe kids. There is a lot of reading so only for strong readers. Not my thing but someone might like it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Keeps crashing April 27, 2014

Purchased this game yesterday for my daughter. She enjoyed whatever she could play but it kept crashing at the same point in the game. After an hour, she got tired of not being able to advance and went back to her other apps. Wasted money.

2.0 out of 5 stars Glitchy and Dull July 30, 2014
Verified Purchase
I honestly couldn't get far into this game, mainly due to being brick-walled by a undocumented microphone feature, but also largely due to gameplay introduction. What Tivola missed by far was the "Gameplay Hook" unless the immediate snooze fest of going back and forth a few times, reading tiny text, and then going to sleep WAS supposed to be the gameplay hook...

Network Access: Does contain Flurry Analytics, a FB link, and a direct link to the Amazon App Store, but runs OFFLINE. No in-game sound control for the music, so you will have to use your device's global/media volume control

Upon opening, the first thing it did was force switch itself into an upside down Landscape orientation on my Samsung Tab 3. Minor, it is also in the minority of not getting the orientation quite right. The screen graphics also have a constant flickering. I've played some pretty high-end graphically intensive games on this tablet, and this game is certainly not one of those, so there shouldn't be such a glaring flickering. The product description on the Amazon App Store certainly can use a lot more work. I still don't know exactly what the game is, and I've played it! Well, for like 5 minutes, but I was pretty much ready to head off to the big hammock across the horizon by then.

Small text on my 10.1" screen, small enough to make me just glance at the long paragraph, grimace, read the last sentence, then wander off. Wander, tap, read, wander, tap, read, wander... try to interact with the "whistle dude", apparently having to use my tablet's microphone (according to other reviews and NOT in-game instruction). Unfortunately, aside from being an asinine, pointless interface, it doesn't work on my Samsung Tab 3. Now time to exit game.

If you mean profanity, I haven't seen any bad language. Of course, I don't know what your son would consider bad language.
