"Dolphins: A Message of Love" is quite simply one of the most beautiful albums I've heard in a long time. Frederic Delarue's third album of original instrumental works is stunning in its richness, passion, and joy. Using Korg and Kurzweil synthesizers/keyboards/ samplers, Delarue has created vibrant, inspiring music, and some tracks feature the sounds of dolphins and the ocean. Several pieces are piano-based and some feature wordless vocals that give them a very ethereal sound. I really like Delarue's first two albums, "Voyage of the Soul" and "Soaring With the Angels," but think this is by far his best work to date. "Calming" and "soothing" are words that come to mind, but the music goes beyond that, as it can be listened to many times with full attention without getting "old," and yet is very effective in the background. There aren't many albums where I thoroughly enjoy every track, but I love this one! Delarue truly composes and plays from the heart, and his sincerity and emotional depth are compelling.

The CD opens with the sound of the surf, dolphin "clicks," and heavenly voices. Ambient, floating sounds set the tone of the album, creating a sense of peace and tranquility. "Ballet of Light" is playful and free, with a simple piano melody and lovely string washes. "Sincere Communion" is a gorgeous piece, again piano-based with strings, voices, and soothing ambient sounds; it almost feels like dreaming on a cloud. "Marie de la Mer" is a lovely piece that must have been inspired by the Bach/Gounod "Ave Maria." Heavenly! The first part of "Revelation" hints at a very slow Pachelbel "Canon," and evolves into a very quiet and meditative piece that tugs at the heart while soothing the mind. Other titles include "Calm In My Spirit," "Splash of Joy," and "Angels of the Sea," suggesting correctly that this music is peaceful, joyful, and deeply felt. In addition to the twelve tracks that were inspired by the dolphins, the CD includes two bonus tracks, "Dance of Love" and "Rejoice," which feature more of a "dance mix" feeling with rhythm tracks and an upbeat, fun, spirit.

Sure to be on my Top 10 for 2004, "Dolphins" is very highly recommended!

I have followed the growth of Frederic Delarue since his first US album saw light. I must admit that "Dolphins" is his best work to date. It is vulnerable, emotional, soothing and very healing.

I am using Frederic's music during Ear Candling sessions in Los Angeles for years now and love to observe the effects it has on my clients. The music creates an instant atmosphere of calm and relaxation. My client fall into a state of peace, many falling asleep, not because the music is boring, but rather because the whole session is so soothing and wonderful. In this moment of time you can choose to leave all your worries on a shelf and just be in the moment.

The melodies on this CD have moved me to tears the very first time I lend ears to this astonishing work. The title track "A Message of Love" is so moving. I can't help but visualize dolphins swimming happily around in the ocean...in an ocean of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE...sending light into the hearts of the listeners.

This album is very special. It is definetely not the type of CD you throw into your cars CD player during rush hour traffic. The healing effect takes place when you set time aside for yourself. I feel surrounded by love and beauty, reminding me what we really are here for.

In 2004 I have swim with Dolphins at La Palma, it was my first time. When I saw them in their magic home, the ocean, I start crying??? why, because I feel at home with myself on an eternal level, a mystery and miracle, that never leaves me!

They make me transparent, so I can feel Love for everything and everybody in the world. I start one year after this experience to coach people to their heart,in connection with my Dolphin-energy, it takes only a few consultations.

This sweet and beautiful music, makes their language of Love still more attainable for more and more people in the world. We need this for our way to WorldPeace and the next Dimension. This is the third copy of this I've purchased - one for me and two for gifts to be given to friends having a difficult time. Obviously I really like it! I first discovered this when I met Mr. Delarue in Palm Springs.

I have almost every one of frederics cds. They have given me so much peace when I have needed it the most. My mother was in the hospice house and I enjoyed escaping all my pain by listening to his music...it is so uplifting and inspirational. I know you will not be disappointed if you purchase any of his music. I also met him when he performed in Palm Springs and he is a wonderful gift from God!!!!

We first encountered Frederic while on vacation in Palm Springs. He plays his music at the weekly street fair and we picked this CD because the song he had been playing was from this album. I let other people in my family borrow it and they really liked it as well. My wife went through a period of having bad panic attacks, and whenever an attack came on, she'd play this CD. You can play it as you're meditating or going to sleep (only beware of the last song, it has percussion and might wake you).

Frederic's music is soothing, and connects you with another place. I think his music can be a great comfort for those who are going through a rough time.

I have just purchased two of Frederic Delarue's CDs, "Eyes of Your Heart" and "DOLPHINS...A MESSAGE OF LOVE" and have to say that listing to Frederic Delarue's music will instantly transport you to a quiet and peaceful place, The albums are evocative and pulls up emotions from deep within your being, with this celestial music the only limit is your imagination.

My experience with Frederic Delarue began with his "Eyes of Your Heart" CD, the most beautiful music I have ever heard. It is not only beautiful ethereal piano composition, but more importantly, it is so vibrationally superb. The Dolphins is my second Delarue CD and Frederic's third album and it is very beautiful. It is from 2004. He says it was a "calling" to spread consciousness of infinite pure love to the world. It was inspired by the dolphins and composed from his heart. Woven throughout much of the music are dolphin sounds and waves. This CD has 12 tracks, plus 2 bonus tracks, totaling 63:40 minutes or a wee bit over 1 hour. The tracks blend together nicely with only a slight pause in between, barely noticeable.

For the first 12 tracks, in parentheses, you will find the composer's intention next to the title of the song. As I usually do with music, I am writing my review as I experience each track for the first time, so that you can know my first impressions.

1)Welcome (Welcome to the Kingdom of the Dolphins) (3:47) - a beautiful beginning of waves and dolphins sounds and ethereal music, like a chorus of a thousand angels singing with the dolphins. This piece has a massive sound to it, like it speaks to the whole universe.

2)Ballet of Light (Feel the Soul of these unique Beings) (3:18) - Pretty, light, airy, loving, and playful.

3)Waves of Love (Powerful Vibrations of the Dolphins) (4:51) - The music plays lightly as you hear the waves rolling throughout the track.

4)Sincere Communion (Send Love and Light to the Dolphins) (3:31) - Very pretty, light tinkles on the piano.

5)A Message of Love (Inspired by the Dolphins) (5:58) -- Heavy, heart centered, with dolphin sounds imbedded in the beginning of the song. The song then becomes very light with additional dolphin sounds imbedded toward the end.

6)Marie De La Mer (Surrender to God) (4:48) - OMG, this is awesome! What a beautiful tribute to Mother Mary, who has watched over me all of my life! What a vibration this song has, too!

7)Revelation (Moment of Personal Blessing) (8:35) - This has a heavy, massive feel to it, as though you were standing in God's presence. Then it becomes light, very light, as if the angels have come in to caress you and present you to the Father. This is the longest track on the CD.

8)Calm in my Spirit (Feel Peace in Your Heart) (4:22) - Very beautiful, haunting, as though you were standing on the beach watching the waves with a thousand angels behind you.

9)Splash of Joy (Visualize that you are Dancing with the Dolphins) (2:50) - Yes! I can do that. This song is soft, melodic and beautiful, with a slight guitar flare, maybe an uplifting dash of Mexican.

10)From My Heart (To Your Heart Through the Dolphins' Heart) (3:34) - crisp, beautiful, loving, peaceful.

11)Angels of the Sea (An Intimate Invitation to Visit and Feel Where They Come From and Where our Souls Meet) (5:30) - Beautiful and more massive, this track has a "home (heaven)" feeling to it.

12)Reverence (Let's acknowledge and remember our Friends made of Love) (3:55) - Beautiful, full, as if you are floating. It ends with dolphin sounds.

Bonus Tracks:
13)Dance of Love - (4:33) Kind of peppy, as though you are in a circle, doing a group dance, with a light rock beat to it. It made me think of dancing to Greek music in the lines with friends, kicking and swirling around. Very joyful, like a celebration of love, as though you have achieved something wonderful together with others.

14)Rejoice - (4:01) Also peppy, and joyful. It's as though the Dance of Love continues in an even livelier, hand clapping demonstration of love. A beautiful finish to this CD. This piece also has a very vibrational feeling to it. This song brought to mind a karate competition I attended to see a girlfriend's son. At the end, the sensei brought everyone together, including family and friends, in a circle of celebration where we held hands, expressed gratitude, then shouted and clapped.

This music is beyond excellent for an alternative therapy, such as Reiki, Meditation, etc. This is a wonderful gift for someone who is in need of healing or is terminally ill, or just for someone who "believes". Play it anywhere to raise the vibration, but to do it justice, also play it somewhere where you can stop everything and really FEEL the music, without distractions. Tune into it and tune all else out. Surely you can find an hour for yourself once in awhile. I feel its vibrations of peace and love long after the CD has ended. Of course, if energy vibration is not your thing, then use this music to relax completely with and get a good night's sleep. This type of music has vibratory blessings that are not obvious to all. These are vibrations you either feel or you don't. By the way, it's neat to watch the computer visualizations if you play it on the computer because of the way the music flows. The "alchemy" visualization was pretty cool to watch.

Frederic is a gentleman originally from France who now resides in the California desert. As a 12-year old boy, he was in a horrible auto accident that ejected him from the car and busted him up badly. Following the accident, he had a near death experience (NDE) that forever changed his life. His music is so beautiful and so vibrational, he surely must have brought it back from Heaven as a result of the NDE. You will want to play his albums over and over again.

I have loved dolphins as far back as I can remember. There was just something so special about them. I have since read that they are thought to be the supreme communicators, the carriers of messages of love. They are loving and friendly and I actually got to swim and play with one in San Diego. What a thrill that was!

I use Dolfins for meditation or just background sound in my classes...I find it vert soothing.

Oceanic textures, waves and dolphin "clicks" are part of the charm of this beautiful soul escape. While Voyages of the Soul is still my ultimate favorite in his CD collection, this is also a must-have CD if you love the richness and spiritual depths of Frederic Delarue's musical creations. The music is created using Korg and Kurzweil synthesizer samplers and the clarity of the oceanic sounds is truly stunning. You feel as if you are standing on the shore with superior hearing capabilities. Every nuance is explored in "Welcome."

"Ballet of Light" is a beautiful piano piece with delicate flourishes and heightened heart awareness. You start to feel an emotional connection to a place beyond the earthly existence. Floating out into the ocean beneath a night sky sprinkled with vibrant stars, you embrace a higher state of consciousness. You can feel love flowing through every cell in your body; the state people have searched for endlessly throughout time. It is amazing how easily you can reach this peaceful embrace through Frederic Delarue's music.

Each track on this CD is a new experience. "Waves of Love" creates a silent knowing that everything in your life is exactly as it should be. "Marie De La Mer" is inspired by "Ave Maria" and is rare in beauty. "Revelation" is reminiscent of classical composers and is quietly meditative. "Splash of Joy" is more energetic with touches of happiness. "From My Heart" is exquisite and profound and perfectly balances the heights and depths of beauty in this album.

"Angels of the Sea" is an almost mystical awakening in warm waves of ethereal echoes. "Reverence" is playful with nature sounds and splashing waves. Two bonus tracks follow and they explore an awakening rhythmic escape. They do not follow the mood of the CD as much as the first 12 tracks, but they explore many more dimensions of Frederic Delarue's creative power.

Frederic Delarue was born in Chartres, France, the home of the famous Notre Dame Cathedral. So, it is no wonder his music embraces the heights of the spiritual experience all while remaining grounded in a sense of profound moments as experienced here on earth. He has also recently toured Japan and Washington State, USA.

If you enjoy oceanic textures in music then "Dolphins: A Message of Love" is one of the most exquisite journeys you can experience in this lifetime. I've listened to many CDs with the sounds of the ocean, but none of them opened my heart this way! This is soul shivering in beauty!

Highly Recommended for soul healing, relaxation, meditation, heightened creativity, moments of absolute peace and enhancing the feeling of all-pervading love! AKG headphones take this experience to new levels! I can also highly recommend Voyage of the Soul.
