This book has a few basic concepts which it repeats over and over and over through its 97 pages. Seriously, this book could have been put out as a pamphlet it contains so little information, most of which could be obtained for free on Go-Daddy's website. Quite a few spelling and grammar errors too for such a small book(let).

The most overused phrase in the book is; "As previously stated.." Sometimes referring back to something you only read one or two sentences ago! They take a little information and just stretch it out to make it longer and say the same stuff over and over.....oh and "as previously stated" They take a little information and just stretch it out to make it longer and say the same stuff over and over, maybe changing the way its said only slightly.

(this review is for the Kindle version)

This was a frustrating book to read. It had very basic information and it repeated a lot of the same wording throughout the book. There were numerous spelling errors and many titles were mixed with upper and lower case letters. (maybe that's just the Kindle version) Anyway, I guess I was hoping for more tools and web links to explore the topic further. There were a few mentions of places like Go Daddy and Sedo, but no specific references to any web forums or tools. I kept hoping there would be links at the end at least for more information, but the only link was to the publisher's site for more great books. Luckily the Kindle version was half the price of the paperback book, but it's still frustrating. If anyone can recommend a helpful book or website on the domain name investing topic, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have read several books on the subject of domain name investing, none of which are particularly spell-binding; after all, one cannot reasonably expect a domainer to be a polished writer. However, this book sets a new standard for defining the "bottom of the barrel" when it comes to writing, editing, organization and original content. There are numerous grammatical errors, tedious repetitions of covered material (often in successive paragraphs), and almost nothing you could not get more thoroughly covered in a much more readable style, either in other books or online.

It looks like the book was slapped together in a rush and offered to a less-than-professional firm for publication, who failed to even read the book seriously, before offering it to the world. They should have refrained, for everyone's sake.

I suggest to anyone researching domain name investing that they should skip the painful experience offered by this book.

This book covers only the basics. It is very repetitive and has little real substance. Each section contains the same information repeated and then expands on some very logical common sense ideas about domain names, website hosting and selling. Badly written with few valuable ideas. This book is not just about the rudiments of creating a website, though there is an entire chapter about it, but it tackles all the investment potentials of a website, whether it's parking or an active and .established one.

For beginners who have no idea how to go about this, this book is fantastic in giving you the help you need. It tackles issues on selling ad space, capitalizing on Google and the other search engines for exposure, how to sell your website wisely, buying domains, making them profitable then turning them over again. Great money-making ideas
