About the Author

Clinton L. Beckford is a geographer and Associate Professor of Geography Education at University of Windsor, Canada. A Jamaican by birth, he is a graduate of the University of the West Indies (UWI) in Kingston, Jamaica. His interest in food and agriculture was stimulated by his time as a student in the Department of Geography at UWI. Over the last decade, he has researched and published about broad issues related to sustainable food production and food security in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.
Donovan R. Campbell is Senior Programme Officer at the Caribsave/Intasave Partnership. Before that, he was Lecturer at the University of the West Indies Mona Campus, Jamaica, where he obtained his Doctorate in Geography.
