5.0 out of 5 stars A real gem - finally I've found a great Christmas present!
This is a beautiful and beautifully made book, with a very amusing look at the difference in the way heroes, legends and mythical figures are portrayed depending on their gender. 3.0 out of 5 stars Skimpy
Took about a minute to read cover to cover. Nice artwork but too small for coffee table book. Would have been good calendar.

Clever, but waste of money.

I don't want to give away what makes this book so original and refreshing, but one browse through it and you'll begin to see what I mean. Edith Vonnegut's whole take on the world is a pure delight. -Terence Boylan

4.0 out of 5 stars A Christmas Stocking Must For All Domestic Goddesses, November 27, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Domestic Goddesses (Hardcover)
A small but powerful little book full of original Art depicting the daily life of all mothers and homemakers with a sensitive ,mystical sense of humor. Women and men who love creative art will find a treasure of wit as they turn each page. Edith Vonnegut paints with the same offbeat creative humor as is found in her fathers books.
