'my diamond which you said was lost and which I have found again',
By sally tarbox (aylesbury bucks uk) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Domestic Peace (Paperback)
This short story, part of Balzac's Comedie Humaine, takes place at a ball in 1809. Two men are discussing a mysterious lady in blue who is sitting alone in a corner. Despite her coldness, she finally agrees to dance with the second man...but there is a twist at the end. Clever, but not his best.
