Truly enjoyed visiting with these characters again. Loved discovering the evolution and depth of each character's personality revealed in this second book. Great ending... I had no idea who did it... Can't wait for the next Blanchard House Mystery.

What a great book. Ms. Morrow really knows how to write a terrific murder mystery. The Pacific Northwest setting coupled with the lives of musicians is original and captivating. I thought the first book in this series was great, but this novel takes it to the next level.
I feel like I am getting to know the characters and it is enjoyable to watch their development. The storyline keeps your attention from beginning to the shocking end. The author also combines intrigue with humor.
Read both in the series. Looking forward to the third!

Shear fun as you fall into the world of Blanchard House! A tight Who-Dunnit filled with personality and wit, Domestic Violins continues the romp through life of Althea and her good (and not so good) friends. Most of the characters are fellow musicians, and if you are also a musician, you will have an added appreciation of the scenarios. Somehow all the pieces fall together in the end, and take you by surprise. This mystery novel stands alone, but will be enhanced if you have read Ms. Morrow's first novel, Unstrung.

This is an excellent follow-up to the first book - "Unstrung". I have recommended it to my friends and they agree that it has a good plot, believable characters, a touch of humor and interesting tidbits about the world of music.
