Verified Purchase
This is very accurate down to the on tenth gallon. It is well made with chrome plated brass and looks good. It has a remote sensing wire already installed if you want the remote reading meter option. It reads fine mechanically, if you really don't need anything else. I didn't need the remote reader so this was all I ordered. The wire does not unplug from the unit, so you will need to wrap it up and tie wrap it.

I had someone install these in my hot water system to separate out the use of hot water between my house and the apartment we have. My installer was concerned because they are not certified lead-free, and our state requires this. He did the installation, but did not want to be on record as doing it.
