5.0 out of 5 stars Great inexpensive flatware!
I bought these (36 knives, forks, spoons), despite the only review being one star, since the buyer was complaining about medium-weight forks being sent instead of the heavy-weight that she had ordered - not really a review of the PRODUCT. I help to prepare meals for retreat weekends at my church, one for men and one for women every six months. Each prior retreat group...

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Heavy Weight - stamped Medium
I ordered 2 dozen of these forks. When they arrived the boxes and each fork were stamped medium weight, NOT heavy weight which is what I ordered and paid for. I tried to contact the seller several times to discuss this issue, but they never responded. Order at your own risk.

Each prior retreat group prepares one meal for the new retreat members. We prepared a delicious Italian spread for the meal that we were to serve and it ended up looking like Fazoli's!! Unfortunately, our group put out the cheapest paper plates and napkins and plastic spoons available for the guests. The plates were falling apart under the lasagna and salad dressing, etc. The plastic spoons broke every now and then, the guys were having trouble dipping up food, while holding plastic utensils, napkins, etc...So, our the next weekend, for the women's retreat, I tried to create a different ambiance. I brought some nice cloth napkins from my home and cheap plastic plates. Each table was set up as a place setting rather than everyone having to pick up everything at the food buffet. Everyone thought the meal was delicious and so was the presentation. However, there were still broken plastic eating utensils. So I decided to spring for these to class things up. Would I use these on my own formal table with Grandma's nice china - NO! But to serve a large number of people at certain events, outdoor wedding reception?, large family get together, etc, I highly recommend them. Next up, nice masterpiece looks-like-china plastic plates...
