Highly recommended for all vampire lovers!
My Cozie Corner {Book Reviews}
I absolutely loved how the relationships have evolved and with it will come the heartache of loss, as every war has its casualties.
Reflections of a BookWorm
Definitely a suitable ending to probably the best horror series I have ever read.

I received this as a ARC.

Book three in the Vampire Hunters trilogy starts off with our heroes healing from their most recent battle and hashing out their plans to take find the new covens that the four/five vampire masters are creating. This story focuses on the eventual discovery of the Vampyrnomicon which we read about in book two and it's instructions on how to kill the daywalker Chiang-Shih. The vampires are also in search of the book in order to learn how to turn all vampires into daywalkers for total world domination. Who will find the book first? will Drake and his ever expanding crew of hunters be able to find the book first and destroy all of the vampires? Or will the vampires discover it first and take control of the world?

Let's just say that things definitely look really bad before they look even slightly good. The book is found and both parties discover the truth behind the vampire mysteries. Drake loses two very good friends and his girlfriend (to her job), learns who his unknown rich benefactor is, and eventually tells Allison of his love for her. The vampires will in the process destroy all of Washington, D.C. Hunters are killed and the end of the world draws near. I really don't want to give away too much because this story had shock after shock right from chapter one. It's was thrilling and very fast paced. Definitely a suitable ending to probably the best horror series I have ever read.

Dominion
The Vampire Hunters Book Three
By Scott M. Baker

The Vampyrnomicon has finally been found and with it the origins of the vampires and with this Drake Matthews will be able to put an end to the vampire threat and once and for all rid the world of these monsters. Chiang Shih, the master of the vampires, is raising an army with her sights set on a vampire nation in Washington D.C. as the fight comes to a head, who will be the victor, the hunters or the hunted?

I thought that book two was really good this book puts it to shame; this is an amazing ending to a trilogy. From the beginning you are caught up into the story as once again the evil vampires are trying to take over the world and the Hunter are more determined than ever to put a stop to them. I absolutely loved how the relationships have evolved and with it will come the heartache of loss, as every war has its casualties. As we had in the second book which I really enjoyed is how the author also narrates the vampires' side of the story. Though this book has many excellent qualities that are worth the read it also has a startling twist making this one of the best vampire books I have ever come across.
I was sent a free copy of this book for an honest review.

I received a complimentary copy of this book as a part of a book tour in exchange for a fair and honest review:

With a portent for the future, Dominion, the third and final book in The Vampire Hunters trilogy, begins with a scene giving us part of the history of the Vampyrnomicon, the vampire bible which was the focus of the second book. Filled with action, violence and characters we've come to know, this installment is a powerful conclusion to the series. While the destruction of the vampires has always been a focus of this series, the future of mankind is definitely up for grabs in this installment.

Once again, hunters Drake Matthews and Alison Monroe find themselves in the thick of things with the Vampyrnomicon having been discovered. Aided by assistants Jim Delmarco and Juan Rodriguez, Drake and Allison have no problems locating vampires to destroy, they're just outnumbered as usual. Fortunately the average vampire is no match for them. Unfortunately, the master vampire they find themselves up against is Chiang Shih, who managed to survive their previous battle.

Armed with just enough information from the Vampyrnomicon, master Chiang Shih plans to change the course of the war against the hunters. Determined to turn her nest into "day walkers", who would be stronger, feed more often and be able to turn more vampires, she's a woman with a cause. If there are no mistakes, she and her vampires will be able to take over the world and she'll become the supreme ruler.

Once again providing us with the viewpoint of both the hunters and their vampire enemies, we are provided a front row seat for all of the action that takes place. With the stakes in the battle being raised, Drake and Allison find themselves being targeted by Chiang Shih.

The following review is my opinion and not a paid review. I received a copy of Dominion from the author via Bewitching Book Tours for review.

In Dominion the third book in The Vampire Hunters Trilogy the hunters and the vampires are still hunting the Vampyrnomicon, the book of the undead. Well the vampires are not literally looking for it. They are allowing the humans, the hunters do all the dirty work as they say. When the hunters find the book they plan on taking it away from them. The Vampyrnomicon is the vampires, the undead's bible.

The hunters want the book because it gives them the instructions on how to kill the head master vampire Chiang-Shih who is the only daywalker. The vampires want the book because it will tell them how to take dominion over the world. It will also tell Chiang-Shih how to turn all of her vampires into daywalkers like her. If she can turn them all into daywalkers it will be a lot easier for her to take over the world. The hunters have a few new people to join them in the third book Dominion as hunters. Drake will also find out who is he actually working for and who has been backing his company. The one person that has always been there for the hunters. This person has saved their buts on more than one occasion. This person has saved them from spending time in prison.

I have said this in the past about books that I have read and (meant it) I'm going to say it again. The Vampire Hunters Trilogy is definitely not like any other vampire books that I have ever read. This very true at the moment. There may be other books like this series but I have not read them but if they are I would very much like too. The Vampire Hunters trilogy will stay with me for a very long long time if not forever. If you have not read it yet then I highly recommend that you do.
