I love Donald Duck's latest adventure! It's intriguing and hysterical!,
By Betty L. Dravis "BETTY DRAVIS, author/reviewer" (Silicon Valley, CA) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Donald Duck: Case Of The Missing Mummy (Walt Disney's Donald Duck Adventures) (Paperback)
I truly enjoyed this book, even if it is for kids; I'm a big kid at heart! Donald Duck is a "crack-up!" His voice alone is enough to drive me into hysterics, not to mention his hilarious antics! You just have to see how mischievous and overbearing he is in the setting of Egypt's Bey of El Dagga! It's enough to drive an insane person SANE. And those nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie, are as precocious as ever; wait till you see how they react when someone kidnaps poor little Huey. Wow! Speaking of adventure! The neat twist to this book, Gemstone's first-ever "Choose-Your-Own-Disney-Adventure," is that you, the reader, help decide the fate of Donald and Company. How unique is that? This is a modern tale of Egyptian intrigue that I recommend highly. Your kids will love it!

Far away from Carl Barks,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Donald Duck: Case Of The Missing Mummy (Walt Disney's Donald Duck Adventures) (Paperback)
Makes you miss Carl Barks stories. The plot is weak and lacks the colour of Barks works.
For a child's reading, it could get 2 stars, due to the interactive plot, which may be fun for the young ones. |
