Too-tight squeeze, March 20, 2008
Very cute skimmers, but very few of us will ever enjoy wearing them, as the crossover elastic straps are cut way too short. Hence the shoes fit so tightly they render the shoes unwearable. And this is quite a verdict, considering it comes from someone who wears a narrow width (and low arch) and routinely must put padded insoles in her shoes so they fit even somewhat. After returning my normal size and reordering up a 1/2 size, I thought the larger pair would be tolerably snug though a bit long. Nooooooooo - the straps cut into my feet so much there were red marks after less than a minute of wear. Sadly, I returned the second pair as well. Perhaps those with very flat narrow feet can succeed.
