Attractive and Comfortable but a Big Disappointment, March 31, 2010
I bought this shoe in the black suede, and was delighted with its fit and appearance. Immediately, out of the box, the shoe was comfortable with respect to width, support, and overall fit. On my first wearing, I got several compliments. On my second wearing, I was considering buying another pair in a different color, but to my dismay, a few hours after putting it on (for only the second time) I noticed that the stitching along the inner edge of the shoe and along the toe, was coming apart. In fact, a hole had developed along the seam on the inner edge of the shoe (the leather had simply torn), and at the toe, the leather seemed thin and worn. I've sent this shoe back, much to my chagrin, as it really was comfortable and very attractive.
