Just a taste of what Im looking for...,

Decent first attempt at making a game that models the complexity of Real Estate. Being involved in Real Estate Development, I thought this game would be an interesting go, and it was for about the first week. It takes you through acquisition, renovations, renting and selling condos, shops and office space. One thing the game lacks is appropritate "Marketing Analysis" (ie. you cant tell what service is needed in which areas) so your really just going through the game, successfully, with no reason why. Its a good first attempt to capture the market, but lacks in depth. Trump put his 2 cents in however, Activision really slacked with the gameplay...poor audio, map control, zoom levels, statistcal modeling, etc. However, if you are interested in Real Estate and have $..., this is probably worth its money, it may be the only chance you ever have to compete with Trump!

I got to the first levels easily by following Donald's Instructions. Wow is it fun when the higher (hidden) level appears. I was unprepared for it. Much more fun than the earlier levels - but you have to achieve results to get to the higher level.
Only problem at the higher level (hence 4 stars not 5 above) is that Donald really plays hard ball. You are battling against Donald and no matter how much you paint him into a corner the man will not lie down. I for once would like to beat Donald at this game and so far when i am battling him i have not. It is so tough to beat him. Fair is fair Donald. I have had 120 more properties than you. Income of more than 300 million than you. Assets far exceeding yours. In fact i have even bought up all your property and you have been left with zero income. And still you end the game with 'time's up' just when i have your back to the wall. So that is my only criticism - Donald refuses to concede defeat and hides behind the 'time's up' rule when it is clear he is being beaten completely. Just once Donald i would like you to come on with the voice you use earlier (when one passes through the first levels - and then hears your voice) - and for you to then say "boy you really beat me this time"

You gotta be kidding!,

This game was nothing of what I thought it would be. I got into the second mission and thought, "Is this it?" From what I can tell, there is only 5 missions. I couldn't take anymore past the second mission. You can't scroll around like in SimCity, Restaurant Empire, etc. It just very one dimensional. If you are looking for a game that doesn't have all the bells and whistles, then this is the game for you.
