About the Author

Like most natural health experts, T.C. Hale (aka Tony Hale) began his career in stand-up comedy. Touring professionally as a comic for nearly a decade, he never envisioned that he would one day teach the world how to sleep, poop, and even lose weight. On Valentine's Day, 2004, Tony lost his voice and it never came back. After twenty-three doctors couldn't figure out the problem, Tony decided it was time to dig for his own answers. Eight years later, not only did Tony figure out his own issues, he also happened upon hidden information about how to improve countless other health problems. Though Tony likes to boast about the fact that he holds no legitimate credentials (nor does he believe that we need any more "experts" from the same pool of knowledge already failing so many with health issues), he is greatly respected by his peers in the natural health industry. The biggest manufacturers in the health, fitness and organic products industries send Tony their products every year in hopes of winning one of his GearAwards. Beyond working with many celebrity clients, Tony is on the executive board of the Coalition For Health Education, a nonprofit association that helps professionals and their clients learn about health through nutrition. Additionally, Tony teaches monthly webinars about nutrition to doctors, nutritionists and other health care professionals from more than thirty-five countries. You can also find Tony producing documentaries like, WHY AM I SO FAT? A film that teaches the truth about weight loss while showcasing Tony's client, Gabe Evans, who lost 200 pounds in 9 ½ months by treating Tony's word as gospel.

I am so grateful for this book! After years of suffering once a month someone has finally given me what I always wanted- an answer to the root cause of my suffering. Not only does Mr. Hale explain how to relieve my cramps, but he gave me ways to heal and cleanse my whole body. What I love most is that the remedies are not "one size fits all". Tony seems to understand that we are all different, inside and out, and therefore should not all be treated the same. This book is easy to read, easy to understand (all the medical terminology is spelled out for you), and easy to implement. I could not be happier with this purchase! Hail Tony Hale!

The other reviewers weren't very specific on the content, so I felt the need to write a review.

First of all, the author does take a long time to get to the nitty gritty of the knowledge on how to cure your cramps. He talks about calcium in the tissues, how Vitamin D is bad, and about general health, the medical profession and the pharmacuitical industry, and lots and lots of background with some corny jokes thrown in (he's trying to make a dry topic interesting - I get it).

Finally, he gets into the metabolic imbalances, and how to test for them. Any one or more of these metabolic imbalances can be the cause of your menstral cramps. The testing mainly comprises of blood pressure, urine pH and saliva pH, breathing rate, etc. If you look up metabolic imbalances online, you'll probably find the same info.

One of the most important imbalances, is the electrolytic deficiency. Low blood pressure is a clinical sign of this. The symptoms are muscle cramps (including menstrual), low sex drive, fatigue, and depression. Then he says to add lots of sea salt to your food.

But then there's a huge section on improving your digestion, which is most likely the cause of the electroytic insufficiency. This involves taking HCl capsules (which I haven't gotten to just yet, because I'm afraid to, but I'll edit when I finally do).

The last few sections talk about general health: don't smoke, don't drink tap water, don't eat sugar, etc. Throughout, the author talks about other books that are yet to come in his "done with" series.

Overall, I can't give any assessment about helping my cramps, because it hasn't been long since I finished the book, and I haven't improved my digestion yet.

I haven't done any of the testing yet, but I've read the book - first word to last - and I can only say I'm eternally grateful. I can't wait to get my supplies and figure out what's wrong and stop it. Not only is the information in the book relevant for the title, it's relevant for the human body (male and female) in general. Thanks, Tony.

Got this book during a free promotion and am very glad I didn't waste any money on it. Author is constantly beating around the bush and takes forever getting to the point, and jokes about it like it's a form of accomplishment. I'm in pain, reading a book supposedly about how to alleviate my pain, and the author is joking about how readers who are currently suffering from cramps at the moment probably want to punch him in the neck for beating around the bush. Yes, we do. The author is also condescending, claiming the information in his book is "more exciting than your first My Little Pony bracelet!" Medical books should not be written by poor comedians. Time to go find a book by written by a REAL healer, or at least an actual woman who knows what cramps feel like and won't mock her readers.

This book is not only about menstrual cramps, but is about what is going on in our bodies that may be causing cramps. I have learned about charlie horse cramps, heartburn, joint pain, poor digestion and more as I delve deeper into the writings. This is one of a series of "Done With" books, so if you are wanting to get this information in another context (i.e. as a gift for your Dad), you can look for one of his other titles. It's quite funny, too! The author's humor has had me cracking up and I am not easily amused.
