This is an excellent cd with many truly enjoyable songs. Andy M. is at his best singing traditional songs from Ireland and Scotland. I had the pleasure of seeing/hearing Andy Stewart in concert a few years ago. It was one of the best concerts I have ever attended. The guy is a great singer with the right emotional involvement to make the songs moving and meaningful. I highly recommend this CD to anyone who has an appreciation for traditional and folk music.

Andy M. Stewart's storytelling ability is amazing. In the space of 10 minutes he brought me to tears with "Donegal Rain" and had me ready to grab my dirk and claymore and join "Gallant Murray" in the next breath. "Ramblin' Irishman" is wonderful if you like to sing along. Though I've never been out of the US, he has an incredible ability to make his musical version of Scotland & Ireland feel like home. I could rave on and on but there's not enough space....
