This is Dong Bang Shin Ki's (DBSK; they are also known as TVXQ, TVfXQ, and THSK, depending on the country) first Korean album...and it's an absolute triumph. They're one of the hottest groups in all of Asia right now and for good reason. This is one of the few boybands in which ALL the members are very talented at singing and dancing.

This album is incredible -- an absolutely sparkling debut album. Great vocals and very, very catchy tunes, encompassing some acapella, dance, rock/alternative, R&B, hiphop.

All the songs on this album are great and I can listen through the entire thing without having to skip, but here are my favorites:

- There are 2 versions of "Hug" on this CD: in Korean and English. They've also sung this song in Mandarin and Japanese...and ALL versions are terrific. It's such a good and adorable song!

- "The Way You Are" - CATCHY AS HELL; I love this song.

- "TRI-ANGLE" - great dance track; very catchy; also features BoA and Trax

- "My Little Princess" - a beautiful ballad; this song makes it evident that they can really SING.

- You Always

- I Never Let Go

- Miduhyo

Believe the hype! These boys are all extremely talented and this is one rocking CD (I'd also highly recommend checking out their other two Korean CDs - "Rising Sun" and "O", and their two Japanese albums - "Heart Mind and Soul" and "Five in the Black"...all excellent albums). DBSK should be sticking around for a long time. DBSK Hwaiting!

I had read about them in a recent Billboard magazine article. So i decided to check them out here on amazon. While the price of the cd is a bit more than i would normally pay. I went ahead and bought Tri-Angle anyway and not really knowing to expect. But after hearing just a couple songs on the cd. It became very evident that DBSK is not just another cookie cutter pre-made pop group put out there for the masses to eat up.

These 5 guys can actually sing and the cd itself is a very excellent and well made cd. From the opening song I Believe to Thanks To and Whatever They Say (accapella). I found that every song on this cd was listen and download worthy. I have some cuts that i really enjoy:

Its a lofty price of admission but believe me when i say its more than worth it. Its sung in Korean (i believe) but there's a good amount of English in the songs as well that make it that much more impressive. I know folks say it all the time but DBSK is a band on the way up and are big in their home country and around Asia. They get props from me and have a fan as well.

For people who have just so happened across this group by accident without any prior knowledge of them, while their whimsical get-up on the cover may seem strange to you, don't let that stop you from giving their album a chance! From the moment they open their mouths, you can tell that these guys have talent! I've been listening to them for several months now and my only regret is that I wish I would have known about them sooner...

*Note! While this is the JAPAN RELEASE of the album, the songs are sung in KOREAN, except for the last song--the "EXTRA TRACK"--HUG(International Ver.), which is sung in English!*

I absolutely LOVE this cd, but the price is a bit ridiculous. You may be better off getting it from Yesasia.com.

While these guys have gone on "hiatus" (there's only two in the group now and the other three formed JYJ), I look forward to the day they get back together. AKTF!

DONG BANG SHIN KI ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And with this album you get them singing in ENGLISH too, for the International version of Hug, which is about THE most adorable thing you are ever going to hear. Man, can these guys SING. It's a great album, and they display their (many) talents to perfection. I love ALL the songs, and it's great that they have a contrast, cute ballads like Hug (awwwwww) and stuff like Tri-Angle, which frankly defies description. In a good way. ^ ^ This is their first album, so get hooked here, and NEVER LOOK BACK!!!!!!!!!!
