I don't often buy single short stories for my Kindle, but having read author Terry Silver's fascinating memoir, "Nunzilla," I expected to enjoy "Donkey Love," and I did.
The story was just what the subtitle says: "A humorous, lightly erotic adult short story." Pearl and her daughter Tina were likeable hookers who weren't doing as much business as they would like to. Taking a cue from another local lady of the night, they lay in wait for their hapless new neighbor, Willie, hoping to show him a good time and change their luck.
Willie, however, couldn't have been more uncooperative.
It was a cute story, more humorous than erotic. It was about sex, of course, but there was nothing overly explicit, just the author showing her naughty side!
At 358 Kindle locations (about 5,100 words), "Donkey Love" was an enjoyable half-hour read.
