A Compilation from the Gifted Italian Duo,
By unraveler "unraveler" (Nevada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Donna Per Amore (Audio CD)
Al Bano Carrisi and Romina Power were one of the best European music acts of the 1980s, and probably the best duet of the time. This compilation includes songs from 1986 through 1991, and consequently some songs sound like they come from a different era. The first six songs of the album sound somehow different from the last six: more upbeat and the tempo is generally faster, except for "Liberta." I can't help but like Al Bano and Romina. They were a major cultural event in the modern Italian, and indeed European, history.
