Donna Kooler's designs are beautiful and easy to do. Her book on cross-stitched flowers follows her tradition of inspiring designs. Recommed this book highly.

I have found that when I want a book with beauty, and style, I can count on Donna Kooler. This is a wonderful example with introductory pieces that are in excellent taste and beautifully executed. Donna Kooler uses color mixing, boldness and blending better, perhaps, than any other designer that I have seen. Her work is bright, beautiful and joyous. But, it is challenging and requires close attention. Is it worth it? Oh, definitely, yes, and what I really like is that evey finished piece is a future heirloom. Even a simple single motif makes a treasured gift. Something that anyone who owns it displays with pride.

This is a nice book with a lot of simple flower designs but the designs do progress and grow harder so a good range of cross stitching is available like a variegated iris that has the full complement of shading. For me, the coup de grace was the cross stitch flower purses which is given completely, the flower designs and the instructions of how to make the purse.
