5.0 out of 5 stars A Blast from the Past
I recently received this CD and have listened to it several times already. I love it! It is a very nice mix of 50's-60's music that I remember so well. Usually there's at least one song on a CD that I skip past but not on this one. Every song brings back so many plesant memories. I think it is a great value.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pass The Kitsch Up, Please
Nick at Nite made its mark in cable TV by giving longtime rerunned shows like "Donna Reed" an ironic, hip veneer. This album fills that bill, as Sony gathers a baker's dozen of its 60s easy listening hits, puts the TV theme song in front of it and calls it an inspired collection. You have good (Mathis'"Chances Are," Williams' two songs) and bad...

You have good (Mathis'"Chances Are," Williams' two songs) and bad (Mike Douglas?) Donna's screen children get their hits in. But Sony/Nick at Nite outsmarts itself when, after writing kitschy liner notes featuring all-day-to-cook recipes and blather about party placement, they sign Donna REED's name, not her TV character, Donna STONE. They confused the creator with the creation, a mistake the politically active, cosmopolitan actress would not have made.
