Donovan's collection brings back warm, wonderful memories. His major hits are all here, no need to get anything else that contains album filler,outtakes,etc. This is FOR REAL. What a way he had with words and music, whether doing those beautiful ballads or pop-rock tunes. Great fun to play in the car,too. A major contributor to the British Invasion era of rock & roll.

I bought this only because I wanted to sing Mellow Yellow at Karoke. After listening to the whole thing I really am enjoying it. Donovan is (was?) a real original singer for his time. He may not look like a king of pop but he sure is talented. Oh, and BTW I did GREAT on Mellow Yellow.

I have loved Donovan since the '60's! All the songs are here that I grew up listening to. The Cd replaced my worn out cassette which had replaced my worn out LP! Great quality and a low price.

If you like the works of Donovan, this is a terrific overview of his best work. Donovan was a superb singer/songwriter best known for hits like 'Mello Yellow' (which for many will be forever linked to soda pop ads) and 'Sunshine Superman'. However, one of the pleasures of getting a greatest hits package is rediscovering the songs you'd forgotten about, but instantly remember when you hear them. Into this category fall some excellent tracks, including 'Wear Your Love Like Heaven', 'Catch the Wind' and 'Season of the Witch'.

Donovan and Harry Nillson were two of the bright young stars of the sixties and early seventies.

I bought this CD about three years ago, when I was in my teens, and it has easily become one of my favorite albums to listen to. The lyrics and the music give an overall feeling of joy and care-free times. Although the music and the lyrics, at times, are not very complicated and do not seem to be very substantial, they are brilliantly written to enhance the values that Donovan stood for. Peace and Love.

Fun, spirited. The stereo effects are fun. 20 years was too long to wait for the CD version. Good music to vacuum the house with, nice and loud.
