This is a terrific, down-to-earth book about the people and thoughts that can keep you from succeeding.

Dan Montez is a singer, conductor, writer, director and pianist, and this book is primarily about the things that happen to singers (and happened to him personally) on their way up the opera performance ladder.

However, it could easily help anyone else in another profession.

Easy to read, really engaging, great tips for anyone to immediately use, and I loved all the personal stories he included about himself.

Definitely buy this book if you're having trouble sticking to your career goals!

Dan Montez has really hit the nail on the head with his down-to-earth approach in this newest book of his, about singers trying to make their way in a difficult career path (opera singing). It it certainly eye-opening to recount his experiences with him (and helpful for younger singers without his wealth of experience) and would have direct relevance for anyone who has experienced difficulty in achieving their dreams. It's a wonderful book, and an easy read (which is an bonus)!
