I wasn't the biggest fan of Non-Dairy Creamer, although I did like Red Star. This song is a lot better than both, however. It reminds me of the more fun songs like Semi-Charmed Life and Never Let You go. Definitely worth the money!

"Don't Believe a Word" is the first single for Third Eye Blind's upcoming album, Ursa Major. It's a very kinetic song. The lyrics fly by almost faster than you can keep track of and are punctuated with pounding drums and some great guitar riffs.

The song really opens up as it goes on with beautifully layered vocals during the chorus.

It reminds me a lot of "Semi-Charmed Life" and that's a good thing. It may not have the same emotional power as some of the other tracks on the album--say "Bonfire" for example--but as a first single it does the job of presenting an approachable and catchy song that anyone can enjoy easily.

I loved the Red Star songs, this one IMO is not as good as those songs, but none the less a great song. Its only day one so im sure it will grow on me. Ive already played it like 10 times in a row. BUY IT>
