This is ELECTRO!,

Those expecting cheesy metal with drum machines WILL be disappointed. This is dark electro in the vein of Meat Beat Manifesto's Original Fire and TTK's I See Good Spirits, and Raymond Watts is at his best here. I could see you mixing this with Afrika Banbatta or Miss Kittin pretty easily. I own almost all of KMFDM's albums, and as I get older, this one gets played the most.

Classic KMFDM,
This review is from: Don't Blow Your Top (Audio CD)
If your new to KMFDM you might be suprised or shocked at how different they sounded in the old days. It might even take some getting used to. Don't let that scare you. It is an awsome album with some of KMFDM's "classic" songs like "no meat not man" and "don't blow your top", or at least thats my opinion. If your a long time KMFDM fan this purchase is a no brainer, if your new give it a shot, you probably won't regret it.

This is a great album, although it does not incorporate as much industrial noise into the songs. You got to remember how old this is(circa 1988). I love old school industrial just as much as the new. Their Big Black influances really come out on this album. A lot this album reminds me old Ministry like Twitch or Land of Rape and Honey. As much as I like this one I will defianently have to pick up their first album. Other bands you should check out if you like KMFDM the two above and Pig, Excessive Force, and any band on the Wax Trax label.
