It's sad but catchy,

Yes this song has weak lyrics, yes it has no depth, yes it may be stolen from another genuine artist, yes there's no reason for six women in this 'band' when only one can sing, yes they look like strippers, but does this track get stuck in your head or what? The constant radio airplay, clubplay, videoplay and abundant remixes probably have something to do with the popularity of this song, but if you're looking for quality textured soulful music - you're listening to the wrong stuff.
But if catchy light-hearted pop is your flavor, this manufactured track is a bulls-eye.

Do some research and get the facts first people!,

I love this song! It is upbeat and fun although the lyrics dont have much depth but who cares. I guess when you have been put in a situation like the one they are singing about you will understand unless you are the "girlfriend". But to all the haters of this song, Tori Alamaze gave up all of her rights to this song after a short period of time when the song did not immediately become a hit. She did not even write the song! Can you believe Cee-lo wrote the song and he knew it would be a hit so he recruited the PussyCat Dolls to "redo" the song and now the song has become a success. In case you havent noticed at the end of the video Cee-lo makes a brief cameo. So PCD didnt steal anything from Tori Alamaze, they were simply given a chance to make a hit song by the person who wrote it because the initial singer couldnt do it. And thats the facts.

Is the song catchy? Yes. Will it sell well over a million copies? Yes. What's even scarier is the fact that this song was out not even an entire year ago and folks are eating this up as if it was new. Two words: Tori Alamaze. And Busta Rhymes adds nothing to the song either. Busta has been washed up for quite some time now. Yeah, he was tight at some point, but he's garbage now and this is coming from someone who had respect for Busta at some point (I have his first 5 albums). Dude is washed up and these Pussycat chicks are just another talentless product of the MTV machine. This act will be totally forgotten by October.

People are surprised? I'm not...,

People are wondering why these people got record deals?
-because it sells, and it has sold. People are wondering why the lyrics are so trashy? -because that's what sells. Yes, another trashy, catchy, one-hit-wonder, revered by people who call it "DA BOMB" and who will accuse women who don't like it of "hating on pretty girls that steal yo man." Perhaps I'm taking the situation too seriously seeing as someone earlier has pointed out it's about a man in a bad relationship to begin with; but this song appears to be the pinnacle of a society with horrible language, values, and overly simplified thoughts. Has anyone read statistics on our divorce rate? Single families? No I'm not accusing this song of being the cause, but it is one of the products resulting from the filth snowballing in our society. I'm not a Jehovah's witness, either, but when people are no longer respecting family values and I go to clubs only to hear a song written by a stripper playing and there are two or three young girls feeling each other up and kissing each other on the dance floor to impress the men around them, I tend to be disturbed. I know this review won't change anything, but sexual freedom is a responsibility not something to be exploited at every opportunity because it's there.

No I Don't,

This version is really bad. I really don't know why everyone is so into this version when Tori Alamaze's version is so much better. It's so sad that she won't get any recognition for it due to these women. This version wouldn't be so bad if they took out that horrible sax riff or whatever instrument it is during the chorus. It truly takes away from the song. Busta Rhymes please get out of this song! You add nothing to it! I had really considered buying this version after everyone has raved over it so much but that would be senseless when I already own Alamaze's version. I listened to this version on the radio the other day and had a much better appreciation for the version I own. Tori Alamaze's version is definitely more soulful, sexy and has that "oomph" to it that this version just doesn't have. I have to admit that I do like this song although its lyrics have no deep meaning but like some of the other viewers have stated it's just a fun song.

Whats going on?,
This review is from: Don't Cha (Audio CD)
Ok, i heard the Tori Alamaze version long before the Pussycat dolls, but i didnt catch her name. So when i heard the version with Busta Rhymes, i thought wow this song is getting radio play now. But upon listening to the two versions, I was stumped as to why one version was more soulful than the other. That's when i found out about the pussycat dolls. So now i know that there are actually two versions of the song sung by different people, which is actually quite strange to me. Its amazing how the lead singer of the pussycat dolls imitated (thats right, i said imitated) Tori's every note. I know there's a lead singer in this group, but i'm not sure what the rest of the 182 chicks in group do. Maybe they're just props. Anyway, no matter what went down behind the scenes, this is still a good song. I just hate that the original singer has been pushed into the background.

Catchy, if silly, neo-disco effort by Spice Girls wannabe group,

Undeniably, this is a love-it or hate-it song; it is also undeniably catchy, for better or worse - you just can't get it out of your head. Its lyrics are crude, even sexist, and insulting to anyone who might believe in love and romance (or well-written music), but you get the impression the Pussycat Dolls aren't exactly all about the love. As the video makes painfully clear, these gals look fresh from a strip club and ready to offer a lap dance at a moment's notice, which is fitting since, if memory serves me correctly, they backed up Carmen Electra in her recent "exotic dancing" acts.
They also look like a cross between the Spice Girls and a Benetton ad: you have The Blonde, The Brunette, The Redhead, and The Generic Ethnic one, with a lead singer who easily looks like this generation's Vanity. Alas, like so many songs in about the last 15 years, a cheesy rap interlude is thrown in for no good reason other than an attempt at "street credibility", and the perpetrator this time is the ubiquitous Busta Rhymes, who, it seems, will do just about anything for a dollar or two. His contribution adds absolutely NOTHING. What saves the song, however, is not only its catchiness but beats and musical accompaniment straight out of the golden age of disco, the time I grew up in. No, it's hardly the greatest song ever made but neither is it going to ever be on a worst-of list, either, despite what you've read here. It is what it is: a catchy, silly, little one-hit wonder.

No one should buy anything with Pussycat Dolls name on it EVER! I was literally floored when I heard their verison. This is so unfair to Tori and I think there needs to be some kind of investegation on what went on here. Could they not have come up with their own songs??!! And why the hell are there six of them when only one is singing???? I love this song(Tori verison) and I gave it a one star because of the artists(PCD). Tori wherever you are, know that we are behind you and hope this is brought out in the light and that you get what you rightfully deserve.
