This review is from: Don't Despair on Thursdays!: The Children's Grief-Management Book (The Emotional Impact Series) (Hardcover)
I am a 5th Grade School Counselor who was looking for a book to share on the topic of grief. Moser was recommended to me by a fellow teacher who had nothing but praise. I purchased this title and because it was such a success with the kids (I buy 4 titles and use in small group)I have purchased other titles by same author. I have the kids read the book and we discuss before and after. Short. Too the point. Kids take away some valuable insights that can allow them to re-focus on school.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't Tell A Whopper and others in the Series, February 3, 2009
This review is from: Don't Despair on Thursdays!: The Children's Grief-Management Book (The Emotional Impact Series) (Hardcover)
Don't Tell a Whopper on Fridays!: The Children's Truth-Control Book

I bought this series to help my out of control 5 year old to gain some emotional control. We have used all the books in the series and I am amazed the strides that we have made in the last two years since I purchased this series! Yes all kids have various problems but these books cover the real life scenarios that kids might encounter in words that they can understand. I would give this series 10 Stars if it was possible!

Lifesavers for sure!

Excellent book for children and families dealing with anger-management and strong emotions. It's a great book children can read on their own, have it read to them as well as an excellent book for families to read together. A must have book and must have series!
