5.0 out of 5 stars Great album!, July 30, 2004
This review is from: Don't Die (Audio CD)
This is a great album. Before getting this, I'd only heard a couple of songs here and there, but it really stands up well as an album... I don't get sick of it at all.
The vocals on the album remind me of Radiohead. There are always interesting textures, such as the sounds like processed barking dogs in "straw man," providing the bit of oddness to the songs.
Some of it is even "sing along in the car" material!
The songs are nicely varied, probably mostly fitting into the "post-rock" category. I'd recommend "Don't Die" to anyone (both the album, and the sentiment) :)
