We have owned this CD three times prior to this purchase "this makes it four". Not only do we think this is a good CD to have, appearantly so do some of our guests who come to our camp they find it irresistable too!

When you think of Pat Travers, three things usually come to mind...his "no holds barred" live performances, his bluesy, ballsy approach to guitar, and the voice. In the 2000 Shrapnel Records release "Don't Feed the Alligators" Travers applies the formula to some of the better blues clasics of the 70's and 80's. And, it works. Travers stylistic approach to such classics as "Black Friday","Spanish Moon", and "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide" features his excellent guitar work, unmistakable vocals and driving style. I still long for a new material release from him, and prefer the older classics from the critically acclaimed releases like CRASH AND BURN, MAKING MAGIC, and BLACK PEARL, but even Pat does the classics is better than no Pat at all. Let's just hope he doesn't decide to do a montage of Wilson Phillips hits or a complilation of forgotten gems from Boxcar Willie. And please, Pat..keep touring.

From his first album in 1976 to today Pat Travers still proves he's still one of the worlds greatest rockers. This CD is no exception ! 11 great renditions of such classic cover tunes as Black Friday,Crosstown Traffic,I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know,Nothing Is Easy,Delta Lady,I Can Hear You Calling,Spanish Moon,Freedom,Don't Change Horses,I'm Bad I'm Nationwide and Them Changes. For someone looking for some high energy rock and roll this CD is a must. PTROCKS

IVE BEEN A FAN FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS WITH PAT TRAVERS BACK IN THE OLD DAYS OF "LIFE IN LONDON" AND "ROCK AND ROLL SUSIE". OUT OF ALL HIS BLUES CDS I HAVE ENJOYED THIS CD THE MOST. I BROUGHT CD MAINLY BECAUSE OF TWO HENDRIX COVERS "CROSSTOWN TRAFFIC" AND "THEM CHANGES". IF YOU LIKE GOOD ROCKIN BLUES THIS CD IS ENJOYABLE
