Very good early entry by (Tom Cochrane and) Red Rider.,

This review is from: Don't Fight It (Audio CD)
The album that put Red Rider on the map, featuring the track, " White Hot", which received good airplay on AOR in 1980. Slightly uneven compared to later Red Rider efforts more dominated by Tom Cochrane, but more interesting and less obvious. This is good "thinking man's pop". Cochrane's writing--featuring esoteric locational references, metaphors and similes, his edgy vocals, and the production make this very enjoyable. Best cuts: "White Hot" -- an African desert gun-running love song -- and the title track.

Songs like "White Hot" & "Don't Fight It" make this an exceptional classic canadian rock complnlation. I love allthe songs on this cd and it's the best one Red Rider released before Tom Cochrane Went solo.
