This CD is a knockout. It starts out with a catchy beat that grabs your attention--puts you in a mood the opposite of frenetic. You're hooked, want to listen to the next, and the next and next section. A collage of text and music all cooly woven together with a core rhythm that magnetizes the attention. It's as if you're attending a big show with a great cast snatched from several musical hits and plays. I enjoy listening to this album a lot. Puts me in a good mood. Each time it sounds fresh. You gotta hear it to believe how good off the beaten track music can be. Congrats to you makers of this disc.

I took a gamble on tihs CD not knowing what it was and it turned out to be one of the best CDs I've ever heard. I am a big fan of sample-based music and there aren't too many people left doing it how it should be done. Bran Flakes, however are actually more hip hop than 99 percent of rap artists these days. Think of Prince Paul's production on the first 2 De La albums, except IT will go into many different genres. Words can't do this album justice, so I'll shut the hell up. Just buy it.
