5.0 out of 5 stars very emphatic - relentless - and EXCELLENT, September 18, 2000

This review is from: U Don't Know Me (Audio CD)
I must admit when I ran across this at 1:10 AM on WRAS-FM (Georgia State University radio, 88.1 FM Atlanta), I thought the radio station's CD was skipping horribly .... no, it's not that ... the transmitter is FRYing ..... it finally dawned on me here were sounds intended to be heard as is ... and for the next >20 minutes I was having one hell of a musical ride! Every trick in the book of cybervoicing at a rocket-speed cut-time meter unfolding with totally unabashed relentlessness ..... redefines the tired word AWESOME --- signed A Normally Beethoven/Pink Floyd Type

5.0 out of 5 stars Uplifting and life enhancing, December 19, 2000
This review is from: U Don't Know Me (Audio CD)
Most house music is merely devised as something to party to, a wild and uplifting night. But when a vocal such as this from the hitherto unnoticed Duane Harden comes along things are different. It's a celebration of acting independantly despite interferance form busy-bodies, and it's no wonder that former Stoen Roses singer Ian Brown said it was 'a song anyone can relate to'. All this would be meaningless if the music plodded, but Armand has come up with another edgy and powerful track. This would be a deserving international megahit.

Pop in Armand's latest and just TRY to sit still-it can't be done! The disco/techno beats are sure to make you want to shake your thang....I forced my friends and family to hear this CD,then they all wanted to borrow it. So buy it and enjoy, but protect it well.
