I guess you would classify this single as country, but it has such a fresh new sound, I dont know how to label it. I'm not real big into pure country music, but what else is out there right now ? Shania Twain brought me over to Country Music 2 years ago with her "Country with a Kick" style and Steve Holy is going to do the same thing to millions more. We have been lucky enough to see him Live in Arlington, Texas and trust me, this song is just the tip of the iceberg. This artist is one of the best pure vocalist to come along in years. Anyone thirsty for a refreshing new sound with a little touch of the 50's, as well as a dash of "soul" should give this artist a closer look. Can't wait for the full CD to come out.

Don't Make Me Beg is a great song. I bought it and encourage all my friends to. They can't believe their ears. What a awesome sound. Can't wait for more. I miss his concerts in Arlington but I guess we'll have to share him with the rest of the world. I'm sure I speak for many others when I say "We're proud of you". Obviously Steve is a very talented individual but he is also a great guy and he loves to sing and boy can he deliver. Way to go Steve.

I love Steve's first release. Both sides are great. I think "Blue Moon" is about as good as it gets. I have had the pleasure of seeing Steve in concert several times. He is AWESOME. Besides that, he is a great guy. I can't wait for his first album to hit the stores. I have heard some of the things, they are great. 2000 will be the year of STEVE HOLY.

Steve Holy's initial single, "Don't Make Me Beg" is one of the best country songs to come along in sometime. The vocals are great (check out the flip side, "Blue Moon"--great song and delivery!) and the arrangement original and absolutely irresistible. You'll find yourself singing it in your head all day. And surprise of surprises, he's produced by none other than Papa LeAnn Rimes. I'm sorry, the man obviously does have some talent, if this is evidence. Wilbur Rimes does a great job. Am anxiously awaiting Steve's first CD. When's it coming out?

Steve Holy is gonna be big. He has talent to spare, and a great, refreshing approach to country music. The two tracks on this single -- "Don't make me Beg" and "Blue Moon" are both outstanding and show off the varied talents of Steve Holy. "Beg" has a great western swing sound and a catchy call-and-response refrain, while "Blue Moon" is a straight-up fantastic ballad, on par with the great ballads from guys like George Jones. Both tracks are awesome and well worth checking out. Here's hoping for a Steve Holy album ASAP!

The first time I heard this song, I was hooked. Although I'm not much of a fan of Country Swing, Steve's song just grabbed me and made me listen. I recommend it to any fan of any genre of music. Can't wait to see the reaction to it in my night club!

This is just what I've been waiting for! Steve Holy is a breath of fresh air. If country music needs a shot in the arm, this guy is it! This is the song I station-surf for, hoping to catch. And if you are a "can't live without 2-stepping" fool like I am, you will love this song! Awesome Texas swing beat, with a great guitar slide right in the middle that you wait for every time...... Hurry Steve, we need the rest of the CD!

i have only had the opportunity to listen to this track about three times. it has such a different & up-beat sound, and the lyrics & the voice of this artist stay with you long after the song is over. it makes me smile & i can't wait to hear more from this artist.

When listening to "Please Don't Make Me Beg", it is impossible to sit still. The music and lyrics are awesome. All the instruments sound great, but the drums are the highlight for me. Looking forward to hearing more from Steve Holy.

This is some of the most refreshing music I have heard in while. Steve Holy is the change in country music we have all been looking for. This upbeat texas swing style is a lot of fun!
