Kregg PJ Jorgenson's "Don't Mind Me, I'm Just Passing Through" is a funny, up-close and personal look at traveling through Europe. The puns, all intended, are hilarious! For the seasoned and the unseasoned traveler, this book will be engaging and enlightening. I loved the literary wit! Loads of good, useful information tucked inside with great humor. A thoroughly enjoyable read.

Jorgenson does it again...with his knack for getting the facts right and making you laugh at the same time, Kregg P.J. Jorgenson hits a home run with his new book "Don't Mind Me, I'm Just Passing Through."

This book manages to be smart, funny, and informative all at the same time, no mean feat for a travel book. The humorous tone keeps the reader easily engaged, all the while offering up juicy tidbits of information. A must read if you've traveled, or are planning to travel to Europe!

DON'T MIND ME, I'M JUST PASSING THROUGH BY KREG P.J. JORGENSON is a humorous travel memoir written by this well-known columnist who continues to tickle our funnybones with his witty observations. His descriptions of places and people he encounters all over Europe are brilliant tongue-in-cheek, intellectual humor for those who have been there or want to go there. He has many classical and literary references which are not understandable to the traveler who is not well-read, but to those who are, this book is a fun, laughing experience. His witticisms and puns and twists of reference are truly brilliant. You'll enjoy this one!

I love good travel writing. This book is the dryest, dullest thing I've ever read outside an airline magazine. The entire chapter on Paris reads like an add for The Bateaux Mouche... Similiarly the chapter on Denmark and Hamlet's castle sounds like a tale told by a really boring uncle -- totally uninteresting trivia in humorless prose... If you want much better, more humorous travel writing, check out Bill Bryson's The Lost Continent or Neither Here nor There... I am throwing this book out.

Finally a travel guide written in plain english. I usually loathe travel guides. I find them to be uppity and self important. I'm sorry, but I couldn't care less about someone else's lists of all the great museums I can fly half way around the world to visit. I don't like going to museums at home. What makes people think I would like them when I'm on vacation? Then a friend gave me this book and insisted that I read it. I was skeptical at first, but it such an easy read I finished it off in a weekend. Kregg's easy going writing style makes it feel as though you are sharing the experience rather than just being lectured about where someone else thinks I should go. Great book.

Don't Mind Me, I'm Just Passing Through, had me at "Hey! This looks cheap!" Couldn't put it down until I read the entire book. Funny (hilarious actually), witty, smart, and just enjoyable all around. I can't wait to go back to Europe with a whole fun, new perspective. GREAT BOOK!!!

I read this book while traveling around Italy by train. I laughed out loud! Kregg, Thank you for sharing some of your travel experiences. I especially liked the Amsterdam rental-car-counter story. While waiting in line at the Uffizi Gallery, we witnessed someone with a similar "klein komommer" complaining to the entrance guards. Katherine plays a great straight-man!

In his book, Don't Mind Me, I'm Just Passing Through, Mr. Jorgenson has captured the spirit of European travel. His essays give an insight and unique perspective on many of the popular tourist attractions and destinations in Europe. A very fun read!

Kregg P.J. Jorgenson has collected a wonderfully twisted and titillating smorgasboard of travel musings in his latest book. When you finish laughing you may be astounded by the fact that you've learned something useful. Jorgenson's Travels are a delight to read. He is every tour guides biggest challenge and Europe's best friend.
