This is a fantastic CD!!! Ricky Van Shelton's voice is amazing. I could listen to him for hours.

Since I got this this album I can't stop playing it, every track is supberb. The message of the first track (Don't Overlook Salvation) is so apt, and I find myself singing track four {Holy(I bowed my Knees and cried Holy)}; to myself as I walk along. I would'nt take nothing for my journey now, is also an outstanding track.We need to have more good Christian Gospel music from Ricky Van Shelton. One can only be enthralled by such an album.

I have enjoyed listening to RVS ever since his first song came out and my youngest daughter loved him too.....This one of salvation songs touched my heart.....I love the song *As he went out to play*......first time I heard this song I cried....keep it up the great songs Ricky.....will play all of your CD's over and over again.....will never tire of hearing him sing!!

I purchased this new CD from Media Bargain, through Amazon. The CD skips badly throughout. When I finally figured out how to get a message to Media Bargain, through Amazon, and told them what the problem was and requested information on how to exchange the CD for one that worked properly, they wrote back and told me to clean the CD and gave no information on how to return it. Beware of this outfit.

Absolutely love this recording. RVS has a wonderful voice and the lyrics are very inspiring and encouraging. This disc is a wonderful value.

If you like Christian music, you will love this CD. I like Ricky Van Shelton and his voice does a beautiful job with the lyrics on these songs.

It is not often that I buy a CD that I can say I liked every song on it. This CD is an exception. Ricky van Shelton does a fabulous job on this CD. His mellow voice in the traditional and classical style of country western music is really a blessing. The CD contains the following songs:

This CD contains some beautiful renditions of old time favorite hymns such as "The Old Rugged Cross," "Mansion Over the Hilltop," and "Suppertime" as well as some wonderful new surprises like "Don't Overlook Salvation" and the tear jerking "He Smiled As He Ran Out to Play". The songs, "To My Mansion In the Sky" and "I Saw A Man" really showcase Ricky van Shelton's mellow and rich voice. It is really difficult to pick favorites from this CD but I especially like "Don't Overlook Salvation," "I Saw A Man," and the beautiful recitation of "He Smiled As He Ran Out to Play" which will bring tears to your eyes. Ricky van Shelton's anointed voice and choice of songs on this CD will draw you closer to the Lord and bless you as you listen. I can't stop listening to these songs.

Ricky Van Shelton has been one of my favorites since I first heard him on the remake of The Last Foot Print. I had heard that he grew up singing gospel music. So when I recently heard his rendition of I Cried Holy, I knew I had to have the whole album. It turned out to be better than I had wished for, and Amazon.com was the only place I could find it.
