5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT, June 27, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Don't Set Goals: The Old Way (Paperback)
Since 1974, I have purchased just about every motivational book and tape program available in my desire for maximum achievement. Wade Cook's 'DON'T SET GOALS" is without a doubt one of the very best. Too many other books out there focus on "affirmations", "swishes" "anchors" or subliminal suggestions. Wade Cook like Jim Rohn, teaches just be about it! Just do it! If you want to be rich, don't try to 'SWISH YOURSELF' into being rich do what rich people do. I also highly recommend Jim Rohn's book "7 keys to wealth & happiness" and tape program, "The Art of Exceptional Living" also Wade Cook's "Business buy the Bible" and of course THE BIBLE as the best personal development books out there

5.0 out of 5 stars Good basic goal getting book, July 10, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Don't Set Goals: The Old Way (Paperback)
What Wade Cook teaches in this short, compact book is very similiar to one of the top success trainers in the world. It comes down to your core desires and "to be about it." Don't talk about it. Don't just set goals. Be a goal getter, not just a goal setter. Different but effective.

4.0 out of 5 stars Move past setting goals to getting goals, November 18, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Don't Set Goals: The Old Way (Paperback)
Wade makes you look hard at what you've been doing with your goals. Are you content with just setting them? In this book, you are given a different perspective - far from the typical feel-good goal books. His approach is simple and aimed at not just setting goals, but getting goals! There are many things wrong with goal-setting, things that prevent us from reaching our dreams. This book points them out without hesitation with the hope, not that you will stop setting goals, but that you do it right and reach them.
