Guest names are not to be sniffed at - Brian May, Beach Boys and Maddy Prior - and hits include Beach Boy's track 'Fun Fun Fun', title track 'Don't Stop', 'When You Walk In The Room' and their cover of Steeleye Span folk favorite 'All Around My Hat'. 2003 reissue originally released in 1996. The band had moved back into pop rock by the time of this release. They had a great rocker in 91 with 'rock til you drop' and then went more poppy with 'thirsty work'. this cd was the band doing pop rock but in a tribute fashion with alot of great guests like brian may of queen. It was a big hit for them, with four hit singles on it. thirsty work and rock til you drop had managed a two apiece though. This kind of venture is a good idea for a band when they stay on their mission statement. As a break or just for fun. Whatever this was it worked with a great solid lot of tribute songs. If they had put out a hard rocker the next year fans would have been happier in retrospect with this one. I am because it's a excellent tribute cd , and four hit singles is outstanding, This was so successful the band tried two more cover tribute cds. One was the not so good 'famous in the last century' and the ok 'riffs' still this one is a good quo cd. It's not a hard rocker but it's still got good vibes and it's a highpoint of the later quo because it's a tribute cd done well. If only they'd got back on track , which they sort of did with 'under the influence' but not completely enoough , then this would be better loved by quo fans. It's good for casual fans though because these songs are all good ones! Taken from groups like 'fleetwood mac' and others, so there you go more interesting quo.
