Already one of Journey's greatest hits and most beloved songs, "Don't Stop Believin'" has become something of a pop cultural anthem in recent years from being the closing song at the end of THE SOPRANOS to a popular campaign video for Hillary Clinton to the recent inclusion as a downloadable song for the ROCK BAND video game. Though Steve Perry is one of the greatest male rock vocalists of all time, I think this version of the song from the cast of GLEE is even a better version. Sure the vocals don't quite soar as high as Perry's voice. However, even though I'm a fan of Journey, in my opinion the GLEE cast version is even better than the original.

"Don't stop believin'" finally gets the treatment it deserves. The TV show "Glee" is about an a cappella group at your typical American high school. In their version of the much overplayed JOURNEY song, a young woman sings Steve Perry's part. It's a joyful,hopeful,fresh reimagining. It's exuberant,peppy,fitting the lyrics. In fact,this version is SUPERIOR to the original. Skip "classic" rock radio--listen to the cast of Glee instead!

Why the hell is this single priced at $9.99? You can buy entire albums for less.
