Full of clubby tunes; you can't stop movin,
By
This review is from: Don't Stop Movin' (Audio CD)
It's been over a year since S Club had their hit Never Had A Dream Come True. Rather than releasing another single and ablum soon after that song the record company decided not to release anything. Well, nearly two years after their last US album, 7, was released S Club have released a new album, Don't Stop Movin'. This album is a combination of S Club's last two UK releases, Sunshing and Seeing Double. This is a pretty good CD, 4-5 stars. The best tracks are 03)Do It Till We Drop, 04)You, 06)Gansta Love, and 10)The Greatest. It also contains two of the best songs ever made by S Club, 08) Show Me Your Colours and 14)Straight From The Heart. There are a lot of clubby songs that make you want to get up and move. However, it's the slower ballads that make this CD great.

Don't Stop Movin' To This Funky Beat!,
This review is from: Don't Stop Movin' (Audio CD)
This album is just great. You'll be addicted after the first few songs... trust me...
1) Don't Stop Movin' - 10/10 - Only the best song in the world. Bradley and Jo sing this winning, danceable number. Easily the best song on the album. 2) Whole Lotta Nothin' - 8/10 - This song has some sort of Latin feel to it. It's different from what you've probably ever heard. It's really neat how the speed of this song just cranks up and slows down. Jo's vocals are okay. 3) Do It Til We Drop - 10/10 - This song was my favorite when I first bought the album. It really can bore you out though. Rachel's vocals are incredible, and so is the melody to this song. 4) You - 9/10 - This is just a fun, danceable tune and nothing more. The vocals are excellent, but the chorus was kind of boring. 5) Have You Ever - 10/10 - The best ballad on this album. The song and Jo's vocals will easily blow you away. I got chills up and down my spine. 6) Gangsta Love - 10/10 - This song has the weirdest lyrics you will ever hear. But that doesn't stop the chorus or Rachel's amazing vocals from reaching your ears. 7) Alive - 9/10 - The chorus to this song is what keeps me going. So do the first few verses, because Bradley actually gives us a decent rap song! But the bridge at the end... ugh... it sounds awful. 8) Show Me Your Colours - 10/10 - This song will be on your playlist. It's smart and witty, Rachel does great. 9) Dance - 7/10 - I've never really cared for this song. It was rather boring, easpecially the chorus. 10) The Greatest - 8/10 - An okay song... Rachel and Jo have decent vocals, but it's a little to slow for me. 11) Sunshine - 10/10 - I love this song! Jon has lead vocals, and really shines! The band does excellent in the chorus too! I love it! 12) Dance, Dance, Dance - 9/10 - Just your typical party song. Not as spectacular as 'S Club Party', but it gets you up and moving. 13) Who Do You Think You Are? - 10/10 - I love this song! It's great! The melody is catchy, and each S Clubber's vocal is fabulous. 14) Straight From The Heart - 9/10 - Another ballad. It's more mature than what S Club usually does. I didn't care for the chorus, though the verses were excellent! The CD cover comes with a few pictures of the S Club together, and then pictures of them seperatley. There's also words to ALL of the song. And of course... credits and thank yous. I'd recommend listening to the 30 second clips of each song, on the tracklisting provided by Amazon. It gives you a real feel for the songs.

Amazing!!,
By Chris Bishop (South Bend, IN, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Don't Stop Movin' (Audio CD)
S Club have been missed the past few years from US but they're back and better then ever!!!!!!1) Don't Stop Movin' 10/10 - Definatly a good opening. Very dancey, catchy, and has a great vibe. Also is the 1st single of the album! One of the best I've heard from them. 2)Whole Lotta Nothing 9/10 - Could have just a little work on it but the insrumentals in this song blow me away!!! Another catchy song but easy to forget. 3)Do It Till We Drop 10/10 - Finally! A song Rachel on leads!! This is a very upbeat song with little rap parts with Brad. Very catchy and very fun to dance to. 4)You 10/10 - I really chesey but good song by S Club. Rach takes leads and does really good on this song. Really catchy. 5)Have You Ever 10/10 - A very sad ballad but one of the best songs they've ever done! Jo does really great singing on this track. Also another catchy song. (You're gonna get sick of me saying that.) 6)Gangsta Love 11/10 - A super catchy song with an RnB vibe. Also a very mature song for the group with "funny lyrics" claims Rachel. I have one question though, WHO IS PINEANPPLE!?!?! 7)Alive 9/10 - Not one of their best song. Has the same vibe a Don't Stop Movin' but more disco flavor. Kinda catchy but not really. 8)Show Me Your Colours 10/10 - Very mature and very deep voiced. Rach takes lead vocals and makes the song sound very sexy. One of my faves. 9)Dance 11/10 - Spectalcular song and really catchy. Very dancey. Brad takes leads with Jo doing like the chorus and bridge. One of the best songs they've ever done!! 10)The Greatest 8/10 - Not one of their "greatest" songs. This is a cover song of the Popstar 2 band. Needs a little work on it. I'm a little disappointed with this song. I thought they could make it a whole bunch better. 11)Sunshine 9/10 - Jon takes leads and a catchy song. Not one that I would make a single unless remixed like on the Carnival 2002 tour. Could have some work on it but it's one of those songs where you have to listen to alot to like. 12)Dance, Dance, Dance 10/10 - Hannah take leads and does a great job at it! Her voice sounds so different from the last album, you wouldn't even know it's her. Very catchy, good vibe. 13)Who Do You Think You Are? 10/10 Everyone takes leads on this song. It's also the theme song to their movie. I wouldn't recommend it as a single unless it's remixed like Sunshine. 14)Straight From The Heart 10/10 - Another ballad. Has the same vibe as Have You Ever but not as good. I think they should of replaced this song with Let Me Sleep. Other than that, it's really catchy and very lovely and mature. All together I would definatly give it a 10 becase they've matured so much since the last album and deserved to be reconized for that.

The Best S Club Album Ever!!,
By dennis (New Jersey) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Don't Stop Movin' (Audio CD)
This S Club album is the best ever because of their new direction of music. The album is composed of 7 songs from their Sunshine album and their new album Seeing Double which were both released in Europe.Don't Stop Moving - I'm sure you all have heard this song, kind of a disco tempo. Jo and Brad lead Whole Lotta Nothin' - Great song, kind of reminds me of a Latin song. Jo leads Do It Till You Drop - Great up beat techno song. Rac leads You - This songs sounds like a song they would use for a old advertisement. Rac, Brad, Jo lead Have You Ever - S Club are known for their slow tempo songs and this one is great. Jo leads Alive - I'm sure all of you have heard bits and pieces of it on their TV show, great song. Jo, Brad lead Show Me Your Colours - This song is really acoustic. Rac leads Dance - Can't really say anything about this song it's either you really love it or really hate it. Brad, Jo leads Greatest - This song is a really great song even if it is a remake of the song, it's really good. Scene 23 Popstars 2 originally did this song. Jo,Rac lead Sunshine - Really love this song. It's kinda slow acoustic. John leads Dance, Dance, Dance - Another disco sounding song. Hannah leads, I really don't think they should make everyone of the songs she leads techno sounded. Who Do You Think You Are - A great up tempo song. Everyone sings lead on this song. Jon, Brad, Jo,Tina, Hannah, Rac Straight From The Heart - Another great slow song. I love the strings on this song. Jo leads

Best Album Yet!!!,

If you compared this album to their first, you almost couldn't tell it was the same artist! Don't get me wrong, I loved their first album, I love anything they do, but this album is definitly the best! There's lots of tracks to dance to, such as "Don't Stop Movin'", "Do It 'Till We Drop", "Dance", "Who Do You Think You Are", and more. There's also a few slower songs, like "Have You Ever" and "Straight From The Heart"1) Don't Stop Movin'- You know this song! Probably S Club's biggest hit. 10/10 2) Whole Lotta Nothing- I absolutely LOVE this song! A great song to dance to, Jo sings lead. 10/10 3) Do It 'Till We Drop- It's an okay song, but not the best. 8/10 4) You- This is a song like you would expect to hear on the first album. It's a cheesy love song, but extremely catchy, you gotta love it! 9/10 5) Have You Ever- I don't like many ballads, but this is an exception. It's a lot like "Never Had A Dream Come True", because it is about losing someone you love without getting the chance to say you're sorry. I think this song can pull at anyones heartstrings. The Queen of ballads, Jo, sings on this. 10/10 6) Gangsta Love- I love this song. It has some weird lyrics, but all in all, it's a very catchy song. 9/10 7) Alive- This is a pretty good song, It's S Club's first single from their UK album, Seeing Double. A lot of people are comparing it to Don't Stop Movin', but I don't think it's nearly as good. 8/10 8) Show Me Your Colours- This is another one of my favorite songs. Rachel sings on it. 10/10 9) Dance- Definitly not something you would expect S Club to do, this song is something that you would expect to be played in a dance club. 10/10 10) The Greatest- I really like this song. It was originally done by Scene 23, but I prefer S Club's version better. Jo and Rachel share lead vocals. 9/10 11) Sunshine- This is probably my least favorite song on the album. It's an alright song, but I usually skip it. 6/10 12) Dance Dance Dance- I love this song! Its really catchy, Hannah takes the lead vocals. 10/10 13) Who Do You Think You Are- This is one of my favorite songs on the album, its a great, upbeat song. Everyone has a solo part in this song. 10/10 14) Straight From The Heart- A very grown up ballad, sung by Jo. 9/10

S Club has said farewell with a cd hit!,
By Danny "Danny" (Brockton, MA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Don't Stop Movin' (Audio CD)
S Club (7) made their premiere in the late 90's with the debut cd S Club. This was when they were S Club 7. They had their hit "Bring It All Back" which lead to a hit tv series S Club 7 in Miami (Miami 7). Then they released the cd's "7", Sunshine (Europe only), and "Don't Stop Movin" (Seeing Double). They also made a blockbuster movie (Seeing Double). The group called it quits in May of 2003. Paul (former member) quit before the release of "Don't Stop Movin". This is why the group retitled themselves as just plain S Club. This was a great cd. However, it lacks some great songs from the Europe release which has many more songs. Here is my opinion of the U.S. release:Don't Stop Movin-5/5 Great party song Whole Lotta Nothin-4/5 Good and catchy Do It Til We Drop-3/5 corny You-4.75/5 Great Have You Ever-5/5 Excellent lyrics Ghansta Love-5/5 One of my fave S Club songs. Alive-5/5 Great theme song to last season of the S Club tv shows Show Me Your Colours(Colors)-5/5 My favorite song from S Club! Dance-5/5 Awesome! The Greatest-3/5 ok Sunshine-4/5 Pretty good Dance, Dance, Dance-2/5 This song annoys me Who Do You Think You Are?-5/5 great song from their Blockbuster Straight From The Heart-3/5 Ok If you liked my review go check out the cd!

The S Is Back!,
This review is from: Don't Stop Movin' (Audio CD)
It's really a shame that S Club's popularity faded in America after the monster success of "Never Had A Dream Come True." Now, with one band member gone and the pop craze fading fast in the states, it seems like S Club picked the worst time to release their first album since "7." The music, however, says otherwise. "Don't Stop Movin," a compilation of songs from their third album "Sunshine" and their latest release "Seeing Double," is a mature effort that fills a need in American pop for dance and club tunes. So much of our pop has not evolved much beyond what New Kids On The Block were doing ten years ago. The mature and infectious sound of S Club on this new album shows a definite effort by the group to grow-up. Highlights that showcase this maturity include the title track, which was a HUGE hit in Britian, the new single "Alive," the great "Gangsta Love," and, possibly the closest thing the band will have to a masterpiece track, "Who Do You Think You Are?" These tracks really show how different this group is from U.S. pop groups. A good number of these tracks could totally blow-up a club. "Whole Lotta Nothin" and "Do It Till We Drop" remind me of the group's "7" era sound, with latin flavors that will not disappoint old fans. "You" is quintessential retro-pop. It's a really great pop song, and it says alot for S Club that the song almost went to number one in Britain, whereas the idea of any U.S group doing the song makes me laugh. "Have You Ever" is a ballad that picked up where "Never Had A Dream Come True" left off, but the album's other ballad, "Straight From The Heart," is the best tearjerker. It's got a massive hook, but is also mature and well-crafted. "Sunshine" is an acoustic-ish midtempo song which I like, but I know some think it's the worst track on the album. "Dance Dance Dance" is a good track but sub-par when compared to the other club tracks, as is "Dance." "The Greatest" is a song I never liked because of the really corny lyrics. And, finally, "Show Me Your Colours" is probably my favorite track on the album, with Rachel doing sexy, sultry verses followed by the great hook. Overall, I think that S Club's strengths are ballads by Jo, great club-pop tracks, and a few straight-forward pop songs for good measure. And most of "Don't Stop Movin" fits that mold perfectly. This is a really great album that I think most music lovers would like, whether it'd be the ballads or the dance tracks. I only wish it was an enhanced CD with videos, because the only way to see S Club's great videos is to download them. A few photos is definitely not enough Tina for me:) Let's make S Club big in America!
