When I first heard the Chemical Brothers' Brothers Gonna Work It Out, I was totally absorbed by the music that came at a certain point. "That vocoder part" turned out to be a remix of this track. I was just discovering electronic music in general. The original here definitely has more 80's gloss and a little less of that spacey wooziness, but it's still a fine example of 80's electro funk ridiculousness, and thus the 5 star rating.
