well the first single from the sophomore album by Avril. At least sounds a little mature since the "Sk8r boi" days 2 years ago. This single doesn't offer much, you only get 2 bonus, the acoustic version and "take me away". I heard rumours that in the US there will be a release of the CD single similar to Dido's White Flag> the album version, probably 2 B sides and the video.

When I heard avril wrote more on this album I wasn't so sure. From what I could tell in interviews she isnt the most interesting person nor does she have the best taste. But her first single from her second effort is the best song I have ever heard her sing and the best rock song out on radio today. I love the messege its acctually a very good one even though not so wholesome but who like wholesome anyway. add the acuistic where she prooves live she really can sing and bonous song Take MNe Away..Dont tell me cd single is a must have for pop and rock fans alike.

Wow! If you have ever listened to her CD Under my Skin then you'll know this song! It is one of the best songs.

This is 1 of Avril's best songs. I know that Avril's second album is gonaa rock! Don't tell me is gonna be a hit and this is a great song!

YAAAAAAAH! Avril's FINALLY startin' to work on new stuff!! Don't Tell Me's a pretty good song. The acoustic version's awesome too (this prooves all u avril h8ers wrong, she CAN sing live, and she CAN play guitar..) so poo on u. Take Me Away is an AWESOME song!! i think it's my fav avril lavigne song at the moment...but Under My Skin isn't yet released :P AW MAN I CANT WAIT! 15 more days!!!!! well, i think u should all pick this up...even though 2 out of the 3 songs will appear on UMS, but the Acoustic version of Dont tell Me is just good good good. c ya l8er

i've listened to avril lavigne's new song "don't tell me" and i have to say that avril and evan did a great job on writing the song and i can't wait to buy it when it comes out!!!

Avril Lavigne is so HOT HOT HOT i mean on fire her voice is awsome she is great.

I remember the first time that I heard Don't tell me, I didnt think that it was gonna be that great of a song.Then when it got into the chorus I was rocking out!!!I really love the song. I think that it is definitly one awsome song.Even though the cd has not come out yet, I am sure that it will be awsome.So if you like what u hear, then u should buy it when it comes out

I liked most of Avril Lavigne last CD, so decided to buy this single. I live outside of the US, so I don't get a lot of exposure to news about the musicians and what they do outside of their music. In any case, I'm simply giving my rating/recommendation based on the music. If you liked AL's last CD, you'll more than likely enjoy Don't Tell Me. I look forward to the release of more songs from her new CD.
