I was excited to hear a new song from Darius. He has an amazing voice and is seriously underestimated in my opinion. "Don't think I don't think about it" is a great first single from his country album. It got a great sound, great lyrics and even makes the obligatory mention of Whiskey.

Who'd thunk it? Always loved Hootie and the Blowfish and now I love his cross-over. Let's hope the country radio stations will play Darius now.

Who would have thought this would work? The first time I was introduced this song I saw the video on VH1 Country. I passed it by because I thought "Now Hootie's gone country like Jessica Simpson and lets' face it everyone else". Then it was hard to move past having another song on top of the music to Diamond Rio's "Love a Little Stronger". But tonight I was in the car and got he chance to hear the song and it pulled my heart strings out of my chest. It's an answer to the break up question "does he hurt like I do". The feelings are so raw it would be hard to believe it wasn't written from a real life personal experience.
