Don't Think Kandi's Not!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Don't Think I'm Not (Audio CD)
Kandi is such a talented artist! She can sing, write and produce! "Don't Think I'm Not" was one of my favorite songs back in 2000. I wonder what happened to Kandi. I haven't heard from her in a minute.

Kandi's "Don't thnk I'm not" is a VERY GOOD R&B song!!!She has strong vocals, greeat melody, and lyrics!!!*wow*!!!She is a great lyricist she's won grammy's for it,and she also co-wrote the #1 hit from TLC "No Scrubs!!!!" She used to be in a group called Xscape, but they broke up,I liked Xscape, but I like Kandi solo better!!!You should check out some of Xscaped music it is very good!!!And buy this single it it *hot*!!!!

Don't Think I'm Not,

This is Kandi's first single off of her new album "Hey, Kandi" to be released September 12th, 2000. Once again, she has teamed up with songwriting partner Kevin Briggs. (Aka "Shekespere" - don't know if I spelled it right) These two are known for writing/producing other well known hits such as: There You Go (Pink), No Scrubs (TLC), Bills, Bills, Bills (Destiny's Child), Bug A Boo (Destiny's Child), No Pigeons (Sporty Thievez), and X-Girlfriend (Mariah Carey) - just to name a few. Both Kandi Buruss and Kevin Briggs are talented musicians and I am sure that they have both made contributions to Kandi's album, which will make it one that you won't want to pass up. - If you like hip-hop and/or r&b, this single as well as the album are right for you.

Kandi is such a talented artist, she writes her music and music for TLC, Destiny's Child, *Nsync, Mariah Carey, and Jay-Z. She works with Kevin "She'kspere" Briggs. This is such a good song, I love the beat. I suggest the artists mentioned above if you like this song.

Disappointed,

I was highly disappointed with this cd. With her history of writing big hits with/for the likes of Pink, Destiny's Child, and TLC, I thought I was in for a treat. I was let down bigtime. There were no stand out songs, and her vocals are mediocre at best. I am shocked her label put out of cd that is obviously not her best work. I hope she can do something in the future to rebound from this flop.

kandi burrus is an extremely talented artist, writing numerous hits for a countless group, including xscape, tlc & of course female rap sensation sole', and now she has broken away from the background to release her debut album hey kandi."don't think i'm not" is a pretty kool song and the remixes are hot to death, and i can see kandi going places. but the reason that i give the cd a 4 is because for just 5 songs you are paying 8.00!! thats a little sick.

I love Kandi but I want some more Xscape,
By A Customer
This review is from: Don't Think I'm Not (Audio CD)
Kandi is a great artist. But she needs to stay with Xscape. I think it's great that two different memberers have songs out right now but I want more music by Xscape. Xscape is a wonderful group. All of the members together are what makes the group what it is. They are all tallented. And unlike Destiny's Child, they all get solo verses on the Cd's. I love Kandi, I Love Xscape. If Kandi comes out with a solo album it would be great but I'd rather have Kandi's next album be with Xscape. Because I love Xscpae. I love Kandi, Tamika, LaTocha & Tiny. All love them all. There solo singles are great but I miss the group at the same time.

This is a really great song. Kandi has an excellent voice, and can really dance well. She used to be a member of Xscape, and is doing a great job now that she's on her own.

Kandi Burruss, formerly from the R&B supergroup Xscape has proven that she is a talented and strong solo artist. One evidence of this is her single, "Don't Think I'm Not." It's a wonderful uptempo pop and R&B song. It's unfortunate that many of the R&B stations have not embraced the single as pop radio stations have. Kandi has exemplified her strong vocal range in this single. Kandi lives up to her name, she is indeed a "sweet" artist full of talent. I'm highly impressed of her songwriting talent. I wish her well in her career. It's so hard to find music artists that actually write their own material and have strong vocals on top of that.If you like to dance and have an optimistic and strong attitude to life, than I urge you to pick up the single "Don't Think I'm Not" by Atlanta's pride and joy, Kandi. Kandi's "Don't Think I'm Not" receives a Kenny rating of A. |
