The author is spying on my life!,

I stumbled upon this book in a book store and knew I had to buy it--this guy is living my life! I have complained to friends and family about many of these exact topics, almost verbatim. "#163--Public restroom sinks with separate faucets for hot and cold water, forcing you to chose between ice-cold and scalding-hot." I was just talking about this the other day! Is it so diffcult to have 1 faucet so you can adjust the temperature? This book made me realize how similar we all are, and no matter where you live or what you do you have to put up with the same stupid stuff every day. Get this book! It will make you realize your problems are probably no worse than anyone else's.

You know something is great when it can make you laugh, out loud, in quiet public places. Even better, when something makes you laugh no matter where you are. Everytime I pick up this book it's a guaranteed smile. This author is clever, humorous, creative and insightful. I'm so glad this little book fell into my life.

Extremely entertaining read, the author's really hit the mark on so many of the daily trivial things that happen to all of us. There were so many lines in Mr. Cohen's book that gave me that "eureka" moment inside my brain. I highly recommend this book to anyone in search of a good laugh.

This is a great little book that will amuse you whenever you have 5 or 10 minutes to spare or for even longer attention spans. I bought it when I saw the toilet paper roll on the cover and knew it would make the perfect bathroom book. Most of my friends who have used my bathroom have come out laughing and want a copy of this book. This book will have you thinking the following about each of life's annoyances:1. That is really funny 2. What possessed this author to think of that. Get this book while you can. Good luck finding it. I already bought out the book store in my town so I can give copies to people that don't annoy me.

My whole family is fighting over our 1 copy,

Extremely funny and insightful. A really fun book to have around the house. Cohen seems to know what I'm thinking most of the time, even when I don't. And friends come into our house, pick it up and invariably say, "Oh that is so true !!!!" I bought it, but my 9 year old son seems to have stolen it. I'm going to steal it back.

I bought this book for my parents as a Christmas gift and ended up reading the whole thing in one sitting before I gave it to them. It completely cracked me up.

Pick a page...any page, and you will find yourself laughing out loud! Cohen's book has them all...all those things you hate but cannot stop laughing at. Many have tried to write this sort of book before, but they have always failed. Scott succeeded. My face still aches from laughing.

What a great, hilarious book! I could so relate to so many of Cohen's insights.I never would have admited that I do sometimes wonder if the appetizer that I'm sharing is being evenly divided! This book is a sweet, funny, easy to read, easy to hold, fun to pick up and put down. How did he ever come up with 738 annoying things! I gave it to my son and we read it back and forth to each other. Great read, great gift, great to have on the coffeetable.

I agree with the sentiments of the other reviewers here. This book works on any number of levels. First off, it is sure to appeal to a wide audience - boys and girls, men and women, young or old. It's incredibly smart and funny, with dozens and dozens of "annoying things" people can easily identify with. And it's an easy and quick read that can be enjoyed over and over. What more can you want in a humor book?I just bought another copy for my niece who is graduating from high school in June. That way, she'll be more prepared for the bothersome realities she's sure to encounter in the real world :) |
