Findlay is quietly hanging below the radar in his native country(UK) at the moment and it's a real shame, because he's a talent to keep an eye/ear out for. This is Findlay's debut EP (2006). He has since released a long-player, titled "Seperated By The Sea"(2007). On this EP, stand out tracks include "Seperated By The Sea" and "Come Home" (which was used in a US TV commercial around Christmas time). Findlay is a 60's sounding, retro, singer/songwriter which reminds me of dozens before, but this kid's got a special gentle psychedelic twist, a beautiful voice and a damn good pen for writing hooks and great simple acoustic/rock/pop tunes. Start with this, if you like, proceed to the full length and hunt down those rare UK vinyl singles!
