Not as good as My Life On A Plate,

This review is from: Don't You Want Me? (Paperback)
Don't You Want Me is cute, predictable, and has some funny moments, but it's not outrageous laugh-out-loud funny like My Life On A Plate. I enjoyed it, but was a little disappointed.

I read this book in 3 days and it made me laugh so much I cried. About a single mum living in a large house and has a lodger who seems, well.... a bit of a jack the lad. Stella watches Frank (the lodger) having some undetached fun and also wants a bit of the action. I would describe this novel as a very modern love story. Scene with Stella and her past love making catching up with her is priceless.

I picked up this book in Greece a few years ago and I couldn't wait for it to be availabe to buy in the states! It is hysterical. Stella is the most likeable character I have read in a long time. I have bought copies for all my friends and it is everyone's favorite book.
