Review
I've just finished reading an advance copy of
The Dos and Don'ts of Work Team Coaching and found it a very useful book.
This little book packs a lot of power in its small size, which makes it very handy for busy managers and employees. It is easy to read---full of good tips, great examples and a healthy dose of humor. -- Barbara Taylor, Executive Director, The Institute for Management Excellence. February 9, 1998

Anyone interested in work team dynamics and leadership will find a wealth of intelligent, common sense in this easy-reading yet provocative book. Carl Sagan once said, "The person making a claim is responsible for proving it." Some claims and principles expressed in this book are supported by the testimony of the accompanying anecdotes. Some are reinforced by a logical basis, often no more than a single sentence in length. Many of the dos and don'ts merit an entire chapter to themselves, with supporting statistics and other types of proof. However, we feel that approach would have resulted in laborious reading. We believe most of the fundamentals presented in this book---to borrow a phrase from a somewhat more famous document---to be self-evident. The principles are therefore presented briefly, for your consideration and contemplation.
