Decaf can sometimes have an icky taste, this has a coffee house aroma and a smooth taste, not bitter or dirty or chalky. I highly recommend it.
So, if you like a lightly roasted and somewhat weak cup of coffee, you'd like this. The flavor is good. But, k-cups run a little on the weak side in general and this one is simply too light for me.
Amazon did ship fast and had a good price.
UPDATE: Some reviews here don't seem to understand the terms being used.
"Light Roast" is a description of how long the coffee beans are roasted. Light roaster beans do not have the strong and sometimes bitter flavor of beans that are roasted for longer times, but they retain more of the subtleties of their flavor. It does produce a `lighter' cup of coffee.
"Extra Bold" is a term Keurig/Green Mountain uses to describe a K-cup that has more coffee grounds in it than normal K-cups. More coffee grounds makes for a stronger cup of coffee. The strength of the coffee also depends on how large a cup you brew.
You can have a "light roast" coffee in an "Extra Bold" K-cup, but the result will still be a coffee with a lighter flavor.
Personally, I like a medium roast; a nice balance between good coffee flavor and that strong coffee bite.
I drink coffee black and the taste of Donut House is excellent.
FACT: MILDER ROAST = HIGHER CAFFEINE. DARKER/BOLDER ROAST = LESS CAFFEINE. Let's clear up this fallacy once and for all folks.
As a serious coffee connoisseur with a naturally hyperactive brain, anything but extremely strong coffee puts me to sleep. Strong as in "caffeine content". Bold/Extra Dark (e.g. French Roast, Columbian, Espresso), sedates me. I like it at night to help me sleep. Typical for those with Hyper-Active brains (i.e AD/HD)
Sadly, "Bold" is confused with "Strong". Unless you're implying "strong flavored". This is why people falsely think Espresso Roasts have the most caffeine. Actually, it has 1/3 the caffeine of French Roast and 1/4 of a mild roast. If you have a full cup of espresso, yes, you'll have a lot of caffeine. Who drinks an entire cup of Espresso though? That's 5 shots! In this day and age of the internet, people continue to remain ignorant to this fact.
Peete's Coffee came out with a strong cup of coffee and won the ultimate endorsement from Oprah. Starbucks launched their Pike's Roast & only their Breakfast Blend contains more caffeine. Their Extra Dark/Extra Bold coffee became Exotic Limited Reserve Blends.
2 "Clover" machines were launched at 2 Starbucks around the country. They make the best cup of coffee on the planet! All because of the technology. The Clover was acquired on the spot after a taste test by Starbucks Executives. Not to serve a better cup of "drip".Read more ›

This is probably one of the best decaf k-cups that I have tried so far. It isn't bitter, too strong, or too weak. Read morePublished 17 hours ago by Jennifer C.
