The promo on the cover said original artists.What you are not told is these are not the original recordings I listened to as a teenager.The artists may be the same, but these are recorded much further along in their careers at "live" venues,etc.I would not recommend this selection for a true Doo-Wop fan.

The song selections were good. However, what I messed when I looked at the albums was "Original Artist Re-recording".
Folks my age want to hear what they heard on their radios in the late fifties and early sixties, and on American Bandstand. This wasn't it. Still, I enjoyed the album. I would be great for someone who wasn't familiar with Doo Wop and wanted a feel for the music of that era.
